Thank you for the honest perspective dogs off leash make me nervous

This was so helpful! I love that you shared this info even though you really love the city. I now know it isn’t the city for me because I crave quiet. Grew up in Los Angeles and have had enough noisy city life for 10 lifetimes 😂😂

Enjoyed your video! I go to CDMX about three times per year and I love it! Noise and traffic are always a part of a megalopolis so, it would be bizarre if these weren't a part of life there. The noise, the traffic, the dogs are all part of the energy that make Mexico City so exciting. When it all gets to be too much, I like to chill-out in a quiet part of Chapultepec, at the Audiorama in Parque Mexico, or just meditate in a church like Parroquia San Jacinto in San Angel. Ciao!

I’m in town for work and the traffic here is next level lol! I’ve never seen this type of aggressive driving you gotta see it to believe it.

Necesitamos más videos como este para disuadir a los gringos a que vengan. La gentrificación mata a la cultura, la comunidad y la tradición.

I am looking forward to visiting Mexico City before our Cancun meet-up! I'm still trying to find a place to stay for my 3 nights and there are just TOOO many options!🤪 I welcome any recommendations! 😊

You make me wanna come back!! I was there in 2012-2013 for study abroad, and returned in 2018 for a month-long exploration of Veracruz. I am "planning" a trip for next month to Cancun with stopovers in CDMX, Veracruz, and possibly elsewhere. I'm shocked you didn't mention smell. When I was there, CDMX regularly smelled like someone took a poop in a gas tank and then sold it to you as incense.

The traffic is NO. JOKE. I have been three times, and each time I have seen a "fresh" car accident, ie witness one just happening. From my experience and travels, Houston and Mexico City have the worst, most aggressive drivers lol.

You are wonderful. Thanks! I LOVE dogs and... mi español es bastante para comunicarme con la gente, más o menos. I will definitely be visiting CDM. Keep the videos coming! 😊👍🏽👍🏽

I can't believe you didn't mention earthquakes. Mexico City is my favorite city too and the constant earthquakes to me is the only real reason i haven't gone all in on buying a place there. I would say that's far and away the #1 deterrent

lol - I’m a California girl, I don’t even think about earthquakes. 😂😂😂 I’ll add it to the next video on the topic.

I survived one in CDMX in 2013 o-o It was intense and incredible. A lot of traumas from the one in 88!

I wouldnt worry too much about earthquakes , in the last 65 years we have only had 3 major ones: 1957, 1985 and 2017 and they do happen everyday, most of them too light to even notice. Considering that you are way more likely to die whenever you ride a car or even a plane.
@bhs38712 жыл бұрын
Yes that is true but CDMX also has the SASMEX, which is their seismic alert system that gives you up to 90 seconds of warning before an earthquake strikes. Average is 60 seconds for CDMX but also depends on epicenter.

I had no interest in moving to/visiting Mexico City until I started watching your videos 😅I visited in the past and usually I enjoy going to places I have never been. I was hoping this video would dissuade me from visiting again and...nope 😆 Quite the opposite actually, let me check these flights 😍 Also these reasons would be applicable to Istanbul I found, people loooooove animals there, super noisy, little English etc.... It still became one of my favourite cities 😍

Istanbul, Mexico CIty, and Paris are all tied for my three fav cities! I noticed a tone of cats in Istanbul, which was the only thing in the city I was not a fan of lol

I once had a full marching band go down my street at 3 am. Not a holiday. No identifiable reason. Just a Saturday morning. 😂🥴😂 So yeah, maybe like NO but with 21 million people.

I lived in the French Quarter twice, once a block off of Bourbon Street and the other time in a more civilized area of the Quarter. Time is a different concept there also. I am planning a scouting trip for November. I will book time with you before then, am on a one year timetable. You know when the US Supreme Court is leaking shit to the press it’s time to go

Well ..you are taking about a 24 million city...what do you expect. Actually, compare to other small first world cities I think Mex City is doing pretty well. I am not saying Mex City is a beautiful place, but with much personality than others., Don't you think so?
