Yeah I’ve definitely noticed my Guinea pig likes certain strands of hay he likes the ones that have a little fluff on them, I can see him looking for it through his hay pile haha.

Thanks for making this very informative video! I get our hay at Tractor Supply in a 50lb bag. They primarily eat Orchard Grass, but I like to throw in some Timothy now and then. When it’s time to fill the hay racks, they get excited and sometimes popcorn. 😊❤ Also, to keep the hay interesting, I sometimes sprinkle forage mix into the hay.

Finding the perfect hay bag is no easy task with picky eaters. I often spend more than 5 minutes meticulously browsing through hay bags, and people in the store must think I'm difficult, but in reality, it's my guinea pigs who are! Have a nice day ☺️

I'm from USA.My guinea pig uses their hay to spread all over the cage. He barely eats any of it. I buy second cut Timothy Hay for him. How can I get him to eat his hay?
