Hey man loved the video. I just purchased one of these reels and found it interesting you said it was braid ready. Does that mean I can put braid straight onto it without electrical tape or mono backing?

i would recommend some cheap mono just to fill the spool a 1/4th of the way. then use braid the rest. that way it helps with birdnest buildup and u can get them out easier if u were to make a bad cast or something.

I'm trying to decide between this and the carbon x for mg ugly stik gx2. I have an old Shimano sahara 2500 FD on there now and it's time for her to go into retirement, even tho she's caught some nice trout and walleye over the years. Also, what rod are you using? Cheers from bc canada Tight lines!

Hey man thx for this video. I really like the piscifun reels, but the carbon x is a bit expensive right now , and it seems like this performs the same, just not made of carbon fibre, and its like 30 bucks cheaper. I will probably be buying one or two of these in the next while. Seeya!
