Why do i feel like they solved basically every pain point that most modern smartphone gimbals had? Tracking in the native camera app? check. Acknowledging the ultrawide camera? check. That's a great piece of gear, I can't wait to get mine. No comparing this to a smart phone, a smart phone is a phone with a nice camara, a gimbal (especially this one) is a piece of pro gear that's not even in the same ball park as a silly phone. Great vid, even with the affiliation.

I own 3 iSteady M6 and one iSteady MT2 and so far I haven’t had any issues. (Knock on wood). However they have a warranty and contact information on their site. I recommend reaching out to them for any info on your options if any issues arise.

Hello. This is the gimbal that I also use when taking pictures with my smartphone. I believe the payload is sufficient to allow me to use an ND filter during daylight shooting. It's a very nice gimbal, but there are some things that bother me, especially when I start recording and use a slider shot, it feels like it's not level for the first few seconds, but there's a problem with the settings. Shall we? It's a very good gimbal and I would like to continue using it, so if you know of one, please let me know. Thank you for your always helpful videos!

I have been looking at thing this for a long time because it is the only gimbal I find that allows you to use it without their stupid app. The problem I keep hearing from people who buy it is that this thing breaks too easy and over heats too frequent. Making it unusable. But what else is in the market? I need to use my apps.

Ive been unapologetically careless with it. Not throwing it around or hiking with it but it has survived multiple trips with me and long days of recording. Happy so far with how it has worked out for me!

Very! You can minimize shake leveraging the shutter button from the gimbal. Also timer helps make it even sharper. I am actually working on a video featuring a Sandmarc Telephoto lens and I will share some tips to get the best images. Spoiler alert. Tripod & gimbals are part of it. 🤘🏼😆

Yes there is! If you hold up both hands i front of you in and make an “L” with your index fingers and thumbs you can adjust your position. Repeat gesture to re engage. Video coming out very soon!

Im in the works on this so should be cranking out a video soon with a simple setup. But if you use the 1/4 in mounts you can have a second smartphone holder and use it for a solid state drive. If you have a 512GB or a 1TB phone you might be able to get away without a SSD.

I'm using my gimbal mainly for real estate videos (with a smartphone) where horizontals and verticals are critical! I haven't found a gimbal yet that performs well in this area. How does the M6 (and MT2) perform in this specific area?

I think is one of the better options since it has a higher payload capacity. 400 grams. It can support filters and lenses as well as 1/4 inch screw options for lights and microphones. Hope this helps!

Yes! I often use the main camera app or other 3rd party apps to fill any resolution gaps.

It can definitely be adjusted to achieve balance if using lenses and filters. I recommend using the 1/4 inch mounts on the hand grip or behind the phone grip for hard drive, mics or lights. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼

There’s a big problem with this gimble when you use the 5x lens of IPhone 15 pro max and track a subject. It goes crazy when you track a subject from both software and AI using 5x lens or any zoom lens on iPhone 15 pro max. One more thing, it’s a big problem when you use iPhone 15 pro max vertically as well especially when u have attached ND filter. Try out and you will know.

Just tried it today and it worked great for me with a sandmarc filter with and without case. Had to adjust the back arm but worked great for an upcoming motion time lapse video.

As far as long tripod or monopod great brands to look around are Sirui, SmallRig and Manfrotto just to name a few. Id start with the built in lenses but ultra wide is probably what I would choose. Hope this helps! 🤘🏼😀

Technically yes. You would have to set your starting point and ent point to a matching interval and duration. Some math would need to be done regarding the overall desired length but i'm positive on the potential. I added this to the list of video ideas. My challenge is light pollution. Interested on how I can use AI to predict the settings.

Today 6/18/24. I just ordered the M6 from Walmart for $140 w/free delivery and a 90 return policy. Not a fan of Walmart, but couldn't pass up this deal. Currently Amazon has the M6 for $164- I'm guessing that the M6 price will be cut further Amazon Prime Days sometime in July.
