I'm french . In 2008 I bought a 2003 PRS CE 24. It's been my unique gigging guitar since. I don't play metal . A large part of the songs I play are in clean sound. Only 20 percent are in overdrive. I'm quite satisfied with the neck width, thickness and profile. I like the jumbo frets, the pick ups. It doesn't need truss rod adjstement between summer and winter. The string length between Fender and Gibson is just fine for 10-46 strings. During my first set of songs in clean or slight crunch, I only use the neck humbucker and position 2. Those two cover all my needs. The volume and tone pots are very sensitive and offer a broad variety of tones from 1 to 10. I would have prefered standard tuners instead of the weird PRS system, but they 're fine. The PRS rotating 5 positions switch requires a little time to get used to but never broke down. The Les Paul -like jack socket really pisses me off but has never made a noise in my amps.

CE24s are fantastic guitars. I've been playing them since 1998. Other guitars come and go, but the CE24 remains as my #1 go to.

I love my CE! I'm not a prs fan boy either, I have alot of guitars but the clarity and feel of the prs is unmatched. The clean tones especially the split could tones choke like bells in the best way, and the bridge pickup with high gain is so perfect

I adore my 18 CE 24 and DW CE24 more than my custom 22 and and Gibson lespauls. These babies are the most comfortable work of art ever. Perfect comfortable carve , perfect weight and very versatile

I bought a blue fade smoke burst CE24 during the pandemic myself. I adore this guitar. I couldn’t put my finger on why this guitar has become my number one guitar so quickly over all my other guitars. Then another reviewer made the comment that it’s like a Les Paul, a Fender Strat, and a shredder super strat rolled into one. I couldn’t have agreed with this statement more.

Thanks so much for making this video. I don't own any PRS guitars but I have been looking for a do it all guitar for the cover bands I play in. I found it interesting that you said the neck was thin? I am currently looking for a local dealer near me to try out this guitar or something similar to it. The only thing that would hold me back from buying it is the neck. I always shied away from PRS thinking the neck is to wide for my hands. Anyways thanks again for the insight and great video.

Oh you may definitely like this neck then! It’s a pattern thin neck. It is much thinner than my other guitars but I like it

I got my CE24 a month ago and it's a bit meh. The top is quite a lot less figured than everything I've seen online. The color of the stain is completely off (supposed to be a deep amber, looks more like yellow curry paste lol). Some frets are a bit high. It still feels and sounds like a quality instrument and I'm gonna keep it, but I expected a bit more consistency from PRS, if that makes sense.

Im really interested in getting my first USA PRS, and I think I want it to be a CE. I play everything from classic rock, to blues(John Mayer type stuff), all the way to metal(Metallica, typical metalcore bands). Would this guitar be right for me? I love my SE C24-08 so I can only imagine the CE would be 10 times better!

I chose a ebmm stingray guitar over the ce24. Neck is way more comfortable but the ce definitely had more tonal options. I love music man guitars but I may still need to buy a ce soon haha
