Hi. I ride light trails and gravel roads and am wondering if an xr600r is going to be too much bike for it. Im coming off a 125 4 stroke trail bike and have some experience on a klr 650.

That depends on your expectations. Going from a 125 to XR600 is a huge jump in size and weight. If you want to cruise at 60 mph on gravel roads it would be pretty good, but a smaller/lighter bike will handle a lot better on single-track trails. Scott Summers made it look amazing, but he is one in a million.
