I looked like I’d chase him but I’m done after doing that in a marriage. I have too many options in mid age to deal with bs lies. If a man promises me something and doesn’t do it then I’m out! No more cheating, lying, ect! Now if that was an emergency or something came up then I’d understand with telling me he would do something and it didn’t happen. That’s life! No more bs from these men! They all talk the talk! Few honorable men can walk the walk!

Agree. It's important to strike the right balance interms of not chasing but communicating without giving the needy energy. There's always a give and take and the roles shift depending on the personalities we are. The relationship we have with ourselves is important to not be needy. And yes, as a woman we tend to want to take action when we see things slowing down. Awareness is the key. It's a journey of learning and evolving
@lak12942 ай бұрын
The way you "take action" is to lean back and see if he will step up to the plate to do what you are implicitly asking for. If he doesn't, you have your answer. Don't force anything, even a little bit. If they want to do it, eventually they will. If they don't, you got the answer. Either way, you get on with your life to something better.

After almost 20 years of a long-distance friendship, the man I'm currently seeing reached out when he recently became single again. He has always been the one to make initial contact of texts and phone calls over the years. When he came to visit, he professed that he has always loved me and that he isn't going to let geography get in his way anymore. Without realizing what I was doing, my fear of him finding someone else again due to distance that still exists triggered the masculine side of me and suddenly even though he wants to be with me, he began pulling back. Thankfully, he cares enough to have the hard conversation with me that helped me realize that my actions of trying to be closer to him, to control the timing of our times together so he didn't have the opportunity to meet anyone else, was actually taking the chase away from him. Thank you for your insights ... because of this program I've been able to identify the areas where I need to adjust and let him lead. Understanding the importance of allowing this man to take the lead has already produced a change in attitude and increased the number of text messages and phone calls from him.

However, Asome guys started the chasing but when they didn’t get the sex… say within 3 dates, they vanished. Some staying a little longer like a month, seeing that I don’t chase them with none stop texting and checking on where they are, they left and said they don’t think I am interested or we don’t have chemistry because I’m not eager to take off my clothes. I love the way you talk. American Author speaker are number one in the world. A man who make a women to chase him is not a man. Is a woman. Real Man would be honest and direct what they want a woman not playing game. A person who play a game fear being rejected. Psychological game or manipulation is 100 percent effective only on a woman who do not have knowledge about it. Women who like being played or think is cool. Think again game playing only serve player. You can watch fifty shade of grey. He brought woman to complete submission. If a woman enjoy being played. They are unhappy inside so seek trill of being played.

I had a business acquaintance tell me I should take him out for dinner.... honestly. I clarified (it was by text) and he blatantly confirmed it. Unbelievable. I am working on becoming more 'selfish'. Funny story- years ago I 'met' a guy online and I paid for the flight to meet him and at his house he happily informed me he 'wouldn't charge me for soap and towels'. Insanity. It's okay to make mistakes as long as we learn from them.

I saw this with my parents, my mom was always driving in the man's lane while my dad struggled to keep driving in the man's lane. They had a very dysfunctional marriage and I'm not sure why but my mother was middle child out of 5 so I figured if she wanted anything done she had to fight to do it herself. I have learned through my own mistakes how to be in a healthy and happy relationship, been 41 years but I finally understand men are supposed to build the house so to speak and women to make the house a home.

There's lots of women that are managers and CFOs of companies who also have husband's who are at par with them, and they have successfully marriages, they come home to be a wife, mother to their children, and woman to their husbands. Just because your a boss at work doesn't mean you can't be feminine with your partner and want your husband/partner to do romantic things for you. I see your point on how it can go wrong, but with some practice and training it can also go right for women. Women in today's society want to do their share but I feel they're made to think that we need to do extra and we really don't.

The problem is: sometimes when men lead or try to lead (I.e. do the things in this video that you advise women not to do) women are repulsed by it as being controlling or too old-fashioned. It really depends on the couple I think. It is a dance of balancing the personalities. Good advice though.

I love your point about polarity and what women being in the masculine does to me. FWIW, I am in a marriage where I've been pushed into the masculine but my husband being too much in the feminine...doesn't work out that way either. :-) Not trying to argue but putting it out there so you can PLEASE communicate to the men you help also to avoid this...the other side of the coin. For a long time I thought the issue was with me...I just naturally lead, I have high abilities and can wear the masculine all the way...but at heart I'm quite feminine and willing to be led, and I've since noticed that I'm not in the masculine with strong leader-type men and I fought against it for years with the hubs...he just never wanted to be in his masculine. As my boss says of him, he seems to like to wear the panties. And I find the man-pants quite uncomfortable. Apologies if any of this seems flippant. I'm coming out of an emotionally abusive marriage...trying to find my way out. It's less flippant than it is my attempt to see my situation with some distance and humor. But I totally 100% agree...we need that polarity and neither should push the other against their inclinations. And while some say that reverse polarity like we have in my marriage can be ok...IMO it definitely is not right, at least not for ME. Maybe it works for some...

The ones who did pursue, it felt great 👍 I heard about a woman who pursued a man through social media. They got married and have children. Now she’s exhausted and frustrated as she’s come to realise he never chose her. She’s spent the entire marriage chasing him, trying to get him to realise she’s there.
