I cannot say that my glow up happened suddenly but I can say that it happened and is still happening. It has been 1 1/2 years since I cut off my family and I could not be happier. Gradually, I am finding myself and becoming happy from deep inside. I should have done no contact decades ago.

I just months from being freed from the Narc husband. and I cycle through ups and downs of PTSD., chronic fatigue, epstein barr virus when my fears and dreads come around. yet I feel myself getting stronger. I see steady consistent improvement in my home and property. such a contrast to the 2 years of rages and sabotage. my life is slowly blooming in so many ways. and yes I was raised by a criminally abusive narc father. I used to say to myself "there is no safe place" as his behaviors were transferred to my sister. I was "gang stalked" for decades. it eventually broke me at 54 years old.. my shattering into a full ptsd seizure and blackout. another turning point in my life. where I got counsel and set boundaries as an adult. yes this abuse cause stress that takes us down. mine went from obsessive work to distract myself ... to 2 years disability with chronic fatigue, then breast cancer. then the outright PTSD. now I stand on the idea.. that my wellbeing is above any one else's... Nita comes first.

My father said I looked better and had less wrinkles on my face after I moved away from my narcissistic ex. Not only that, but when I’d walk with my narc ex, I’d always be tripping on my feet, and when I’d try to have a serious conversation with her, I’d constantly be stammering or stumbling on my words but I wouldn’t have those problems otherwise.

Stress kills - the sleep deprivation - healing almost never comes instantly. Sometimes it takes God - a higher power in the universe to intervene and take these wicked individuals to the eternal place they need to be. For some, only then does healing become easier for the survivors.

That is exactly my case. Also praying to Holy Mary truly made wonders in my life. It is such a misfortune for human kind to disregard how much being with narcs is a spiritual warfare and how much entrusting yourself to God can save you and enhance healing.

Today I broke up with a man who turned my life upside down for 7 years. I warned him that this will be our last meeting and today was the day. My body was telling me not to go. But I went, I survived that day, I managed to break up and I don't know what I feel. I thought i would feel a huge relief that there would be fireworks and a festival of happiness. But I don't feel anything at all, I'm empty inside, I don't understand why I was stuck in this toxic system and I just saw this episode at the end of the day... Thank you!

You can be yourself again. You don´t have to follow anyone anymore. You don´t need to care what you say and do. And you realize it is better alone than with a controlling and tyrannic person. (I needed too much time to realize that but now finally I do ...). I will never go back that is for sure.

Upon 24+ years living chained, bound, and stuck in a narcissistic abusive home environment, I am now breaking the cycle forever. Yeah, you may have a narcissistic love relationship, but having bboth parents be like this can be exruciating. Sometimes I've had moments where I question God things like "Why me?" "Why did I have to go through so much Lord?" "Did you have to birth me into this family Lord?" By breaking the cycle, you can understand that narcissistic personality types have an evil demonic spirit within them. It is that evil spirit that you are really up against. If you do not break the cycle, that spirit will continue to follow you. And even when you do, it will still follow you to tempt you into reactive and acting out of character as it tried to steal, kill, and destroy you and your life. But please, remain strong and know that the only reason that spirit has power over you is because you allow it to. Do not make the mistake of giving your power away to someone like this who only wants to destroy you. You are so much more than that, and you deserve so much more than what you are settling for!

Thank you Danish! Enduring the challenges posed by a narcissistic individual, I've faced setbacks, but I'm on a journey of healing and growth. Despite past obstacles, I'm now experiencing remarkable progress in various aspects of my life. As I continue to heal, I recognize the importance of resilience and self-belief. Despite efforts to undermine me, I remain steadfast in maintaining control over my life's direction. To fellow survivors, remember, your strength transcends the manipulations of narcissists. Believe in your ability to rebuild and overcome adversity. Keep the reins of your life firmly in your hands, for your journey is a testament to your inner strength and resilience.

I learned to disconnect my body language from my emotions because my dad would read them and wouldn't leave you alone until he thought he has destroyed you and crushed your spirit into a million pieces. Then everyone says how ungrateful I am because I'm not smiling and he's a great father because "he's your father". It feels good but kind of weird having things connected back up normally again. Been away from the madness for a few years now. Still lots of work to do.

The eyebrow furrows and the tension in the forehead! I have dealt with that, my entire life. I was 18, in beauty school, and my instructor told me not to move my forehead, because I was already getting wrinkles. I had never NOT had forehead wrinkles, and I didn’t realize that the majority of people I knew didn’t - even those older than me. I was severely ill, for the nearly the entirety of the past decade, under the “care” of my mother - who’s own mother was diagnosed with NPD. I look in the mirror, now, and have a difficult time not feeling like I have lost my youth, in some capacity. Which, is so frustrating - being I have dealt with morbid and morbid obesity, largely (no pun intended) due to the excessive cortisol I have been exposed to, my entire life (symptoms starting around the age of 6). Hell, I became bedridden/housebound, due to bariatric troubles, because of the undiagnosed hormonal imbalance. I have been living on my own for 6 months, now. I know I am in process of my glow-up, though, I still have been praying to be delivered from this heaviness of worrying about my looks/image. I look at photos from the five years I lived in Los Angeles, with minimal contact from my mother, in my early 20’a, prior to falling ill.. And hot damn, I looked good. I can’t believe I was so hard on myself, back then. Thankfully, I’ve always helped the mentality, ever since I was a teen - “I only get/look better, with age.” So, I am trusting the process. My focus is on getting healthy and strong, as well as learning skills to allow me to effectively, consistently, and sustainable earn money - and get off of disability, for once and for all; and never have to depend on her, ever again. Your timing was perfect, with this video, Danish. Thank you.

What did Jesus say about himself? Jesus said he came not to be served, but to serve (Matthew 20:28), meaning we are not to serve Jesus as if he is God. In Luke 4:8, Jesus explicitly says that we are to worship God, and him ONLY shall we serve. Jesus also said “no man can serve two masters” and “the servant is not greater than his lord; neither *he that is sent greater than he that sent him”* (John 13:16). We are to honor and respect Jesus above all others because he speaks the true words from God. In John 16:25-28, Jesus tells us he will show us PLAINLY of the Father, but only to those who believe that he *CAME FORTH FROM God.* In John 5:24, Jesus tells us having everlasting life is hearing his word, but believing in God; this is how we will overcome death, just as Jesus did.

Im so sorry you are dealing with this. In the long run it will be better for your child if the narc completely disappears from both of your lives. This hurt and trauma will only carry over to your child. As a mother to a 3 yr old son, whose Narc father, who has constantly ignored him practically since birth and treats him as invisible most of the time, I know how deep the hurt and trauma can go. It's better to turn the Narc loose. At least if he doesn't claim your child, you won't have to share custody or let him have visitations with your child, which in and of itself would be a healing gift for yourself and your precious child.

Four months out, and I feel the most attractive I have ever been. I went to hang out with one of my friends, and she said, “Oh, you look radiant! You’re glowing!” It’s so ironic, because my ex always made me feel unattractive, even as he complimented me on my appearance. He had a way of making me feel bad even when he told me I was beautiful. I now feel so confident and secure in my appearance. I’m spending less time on my hair and make up, but people are noticing my glow. And I notice yours, Danish! I’ve been watching your videos for about a month now, and you are looking happier and more alive and more confident, too! May the healing continue! ❤️‍🩹

Almost 2 years past the narc relationship now for me. I can't believe how peaceful my mind and house and life are compared to before. I've lost 30 pounds and can finally focus on my own spiritual, emotional, mental and physical health. I'm sure there's still growth and healing in front of me but I'm so happy sometimes now I could burst! Light & love to all fellow survivors.

I look at old pic of myself when I was around my family and I look bleh. I haven't really seen them in like 3 years. I get compliments A LOT now that I look young. I feel great. My back pain has diminished immensely.

Hey Dude, I watched several of your videos. I didn't find you as if you have dealt with one. I greatly appreciate it that you create and educate people about how dangerous the narcissistic people are.

Very important video. Thank you. This is the first time that I have seen anyone talk about the furrowed eyebrows. The first I noticed them was when I was dating the particular narc that I learned was a narc. (Now I've learned that is all I've ever dated). When I see the brows now in some people I get a big clue as to what's going on in their life. There are a number of excellent films on KZbin that address npd and all the accoutrements it brings to relationships. What has struck me is how good these films and their actors are a portraying these relationships as they really happen as these relationships are so hard to explain to anyone who has not experienced it. The actors even have the furrowed brows, the tense mouth - quite accurate and impressionable. Kudos to the directing and acting. Thank you, again, Danish for bringing up these five points.
