I bought this for my husband a couple of years ago on a lark. His birthday is March 14 (3.14 - pi day!) and he is a Mathematician. How could I not? Oh. It's delicious. It is his signature scent now. And I often steal it from him to wear it myself. It's definitely a unisex fragrance. Let me repeat myself - absolutely delicious.

I sprayed on my skin at the store and when I came home my mom smelled it, and she asked me to buy a bottle for her. That deterred me from buying a bottle for myself. Indeed it's unisex but leaning more towards the feminine side, in my opinion. beautiful fragrance though! great video, Melissa!

I have been using Pi since the day it was launched and it’s never let me down the intense version lost a lot longer but can be a little overpowering. It’s not a bit fragrance over here in the uk so you do stand out from the normal YSL and other label smells

I love Pi and yes it’s very unisex. It’s a real projection monster moreso than anything I’ve smelled that was supposed to be strong. I’m holding onto the last few sprays of my bottle for a special someone. I love that it’s still available. It’s so out of style in a good way. Opium Pour Homme is also another good oriental from that time. It’s not as strong but it’s beautiful too.

Givenchy made some good scents in the past. I don't know the Pi, but will try it soon. There is another one which I think woman really like on men (or themselfes). It's called Play Intense. Furthemore the best one of them is Insense, because it's like walking through a field of spring flowers and then into the coniferous woods.

Not sure if you’ve already done one, but a list of fragrances for, lack of a better word, intimacy, would great. The ones I like are D&G The One EDT, YSL La Nuit De L’Homme, and Givenchy Pi.

I know this is an old comment but I suggest you give Givenchy Gentleman Boisee a try. I got it recently and I love it. I have La Nuit De L'homme and both Spicebomb EDT and Extreme as my go to winter fragrances, but they have all been dethroned by Boisee. I have smelt The One EDT too but wasn't too impressed with the performance. You will probably like it seeing as you like very similar fragrances to me.

okay so i'm watching this video to do some research because I've never done a cologne review before, and i had to pause at 14 seconds to comment and say THANK YOU for being the first person to NOT say this is a soapy scent, because it's not. I'm 41 and been wearing this for at least 15 years. I do exactly as you said I like it during fall it's very warm scent. I use Acqua di Gio usually in warm weather as a daily and Pi as winter. When I'm wearing pi sometimes I just walk backwards a step and smell myself. Lol it's ridiculous expensive but Dolce & Gabbana velvet insenso is incredible that's my new thing

It’s only the opener that’s sweet sweet it’s then turns a little spicy and woody through the mid to the end. Also smells different on the skin to a tester.

First time i smelled it i was a bit disappointed it smelled somehwat outdated, i have lemale so i'm picking up every similiraty and i hate lemale, but my nose grew from it right now Pi is one of ny favorites it got the magic that i feel with La nuit before, the newer batches of La nuit lost it's magic
