The only good thing about the ML63 is the comfort. I had a 2008 model for a while, it's a beast in a straight line :). Get Cayenne Turbo S or the boxy X5 M. You can actually have fun in them, taking corners.

Can anyone explain why mercedes/amg has a different engine for every car? They've had ~500hp in cars for 10 to 20 years (v8 bi turbo, v12, etc.) from the C class to the S class and things like Paganis yet every new AMG seems to have an engine with around 300 to 500hp, yet they're different sizes, cylinders, turbos, etc. Wouldn't it make sense to just throw the old s600 or g65 engine in all cars, then the new v8 bi turbo after a few years and so on?

While I hate minivans, I have to say that kids and sliding doors were a match made in heaven. You put 3 kids in the back of that wide SUV and I guarantee every car you park next to is going to have black door dings and the edges of your doors will be a rainbow of other people's paint. Older kids are better, but still. Yes, I'd rather have the suv but minivans do have "some" advantages.

I think you've sold me on the Mercedes SUV. Definitely gonna be my next experiment. I've just been avoiding it because where I live, Mercedes vehicles have a tendency to struggle with the weather and the maintenance costs quickly shoot sky high as a result. But maybe as a one year lease or something, where all maintenance costs are on the company. Something easy and relatively low-stress. Dunno if I'd actually get an AMG with that kind of deal though. Still, an ordinary Mercedes ML or GLE is still a Mercedes ML or GLE, so maybe it'll be worth a try anyway.

Love this video format! Quick and easy and you give enough information aaaannnd you show us some driving footage! Maybe you can work on the montage at the start.. cut perfectly on the music and try different views of the car, far, close, inside etc! I'd love to see more reviews especially with AMGs And question: eeeyy why on earth do so many US Mercedes only have halogen lights.. C300 you showed, GLC in front of the dealer etc...

I love your reviews. I have Great AMG GLE 4.3, that I love, but I have been looking at the 6.3’s. So I drove a 6.3s today, it’s like you have been saying, the car is special. I am trading in the 4.3, and ordered a 2018 AMG 6.3s. I have looked at BMW, Land Rover and Porsche. This car fits me and my 75lb German Shepard. I have had good luck with Mercedes in the past, I hope this one will be as good.

All though the new coolest SUV in the world is without a doubt the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio. 505 HP, 443 lb-ft of torque and a 2,9L twin turbo V6, it may not sound as impressive on paper. But it does 0-60 in 3,9 seconds. And it being an Alfa Romeo. The driving is obviously better than any other car on the market.
