Hi Eva. Great advice. I never wear the same exact outfit twice in a within two weeks to a month. I change something, either the blouse, sweater, shoe, jewelry, etc. People think I have a tons of clothes when I really don’t. It really is organization and knowing your body type. One of my favorite shows was What Not to Wear.

Girl, I agree with yoi 1000%. I LOVE fashion but I hate shopping. I shop 100% online. I have a ton of black shoes/boots/stilettos; trousers/shorts/palazzo/capris; tops/blouses/sweaters; midi/maxi skirts as my foundation. ( I switch to white and neutral in the summer). I shop according to the events I need to attend. I tend to colorblock with black. Any jackets, tops, accessories, handbags I buy will be in color. I don't have to think to hard to put an outfit together because I'm wearing black waist down. I'm a lazy fashionista.

I’m 36 and I just reached the conclusion that while I want to look youthful, I want to look like a grown woman. Thank to your videos I was stuck in a a yoga sweatshirt zone and being a boy/sports mom didn’t help. I have a lot of clothes so the next step is to get rid of stuff. I was just telling myself yesterday I can’t even see what I have, I stay finding stuff I forgot about.

One of the things that helped me build a decent wardrobe is to buy a lot of neutral colors. That way, I can mix and match more easily or add a pop of color. Same with shoes. I tend not to follow trends and just buy classic pieces because they don’t look dated after a season. Also, I would love to see your formal items! I’m a teacher, so I don’t live that life, and I want to live vicariously through your closet. 😂

Me either so i stick to outfits that dont require coordination like dresses, rompers, jumpsuits or sets that are already coordinated by the store lol. I also look to the mannequins or models for guidance. Their outfits are usually well coordinated

Great video! There is also another stylist that I watch all the time who helps with the coordination a lot. Her name is Christie Ressel. She talks about modules to build a wardrobe and gives lots of ideas on mixing and matching. Super helpful in using what you have. Her personality is wonderful just like Eva’s.

Great video. I plan my work week attire on the weekend and iron it all, if needed. Which also gives me an opportunity to not run around like a mad woman in the mornings and the alarm doesn’t have to go off as early. I also often have an idea of what to wear and if unsure how to arrange, Pinterest is a great go to. I search, black slacks, floral shirt or whatever and so many ideas will come up that picture what I already have or close to it. Mom always says, it’s not what you have or how much, but what you do with what you have! As always, thank you!

Each season I do a look book for everything I have either thrifted or purchased somewhere. Take one rainy saturday afternoon at home and do a few looks different events or outings. Get somewhere near natural light or window and hang it up on wall and get your iPhone or regular camera and take a picture of the outfit. Have fun with your items and coordinate a few looks and textures with your accessories. Pull all your photos into either a word doc or powerpoint and arrange. Print em out and leave it in your closet for easy reference. I have a lot of clothing but it suits a purpose in my life and do I wear it all. I never say I have nothing to wear.
