Be real, how many of us stop and re-evaluate the decision we are about to make before getting married. I mean really stop thinking without feelings and emotions attached.
I believe we take marriages likely in today's society. Divorce rates are very high. You should consider the following before getting married -
1. Rushing into Marriage Due to External Pressure
Societal expectations, family pressure, or the fear of being alone can push people into marriage before they’re truly ready. This often leads to choosing a partner based on timing rather than true compatibility.
2. Confusing Infatuation with Love
The early stages of a relationship are often filled with intense emotions, which can be mistaken for deep love. Marrying based on infatuation without understanding each other’s values, goals, and personalities can lead to disappointment once the initial passion fades.
3. Overlooking Red Flags
Many people ignore or downplay serious issues or red flags because they are overly focused on the positives or believe things will change over time. Marrying someone without addressing these concerns can result in long-term dissatisfaction and conflict.

This is true to the core. I did that twice. My mom especially was the pressure. She meant good, but thinking back it was all my bad judgment. I was pressured just like that to get out of the military due to combat deployments, I got out twice, but eventually was motivated with the idea of early retirement and went back in regardless of what anyone says and thankfully I retired with full benefits after 21 years of active service.
