I have a great topic for you. Common fire term is trinity study or 4 percent withdrawal for 30 yrs etc. what's withdrawal rate thought if say you retire at 50 and use bridge account then use retirement accounts at age 60 to live. In short withdrawal strategy for less than 30 yrs. Hope you guys consider.

I'm 26 and I plan on retiring ASAP. It's funny because what you talked about in this video relates to me a lot. Once I have a big enough nest egg I want to start volunteering with clubs that do things for the community, basically just more fulfilling things with my life that bring me joy and peace. Not slaving away for an employer that doesn't care about you.

65 is my magic number. I started saving too late, need the runway for my nest egg, and have to have the health benefits from work. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Life is tooo short. Was a non-paid military reservist and every year I stayed past 20 years, increased my retirement check by $25 a month. Decided to retire at 20 years. Cost / benefit analysis.

Great cost benefit analysis in your case. You're right. Life is too short and if you can capture a little extra time at the expense of $20, then I'd say it's worth it in most cases. Thanks for your input!
