That's one thing I struggle with is simplifying my Arsenal. Last year I wanted to tie 12 rods up and I'd fish three of them this year I've been focusing on trying to keep it to 7 or less every time. Love those Corrado's hope all is well

I'm fishing the bank (in the market for a yak rn) but i've also been finding myself bringing less gear because when i go to certain places there's just a ton of stuff i know i will not throw, especially on the grassy bodies of water up here in norcal. Saves my back from the weight of my tackle and its just easier to carry around 3-4 rods instead of 6

If you're looking for a new spinning rod, I could see the Expride or Zodias fitting well into your arsenal.

I’ve learned a ton from your videos over the last year. In fact, I caught a 4 pounder just 12 hours ago using the same bait and in the exact location on a lake that was featured in one of your videos...in East Texas. I had never fished that spot until I saw your video, but now I don’t pass by there without making a cast. Keep posting the great content.

Nice combos, it’s nice to see what you use to be able to get an idea for what rods are best for kayak anglers. I have a few video requests: 1) do you use braid to leader? And if so or if not why? I know chad Hoover does a lot and I just am wondering what are the upsides to it all. 2) I have been really getting into using the paddle tailed swim baits with an under spin lately, do you have any tips for that? 3) it would be cool to see you do a video for budget kayak tips and tricks or mods, I have a pretty nice budget kayak, and I have been loving going out in it but my biggest challenge is getting myself in position to fish, I’m constantly fighting the wind. I have an anchor trolley and a 1.5 lb anchor but I still get blown around a lot. If you had any tips for beginners that would be awesome

Fairly new kayak fisherman, even though I am 65 years old. I think I may be in the ark et for a bait caster. I currently use left handed spinning rod even though I am right handed. I noticed all of your rods you presented are also left handed except the frog. Can you share with me the reasoning behind that? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. It motivates me to go out and pursue nature and angling. Mr. Tim

thanks for the video, most of my rod and reel combo's are 10+ years old so it's good to know what I might be wanting to look out for. I started Kayak fishing last summer around the bay area and it's been great. I haven't been out of the house really for the last few months as I have been needing surgery on a fractured left rotator cuff and it doesn't really qualify as a "emergency" procedure during this shelter in place. Your videos have been helping me keep tabs on how the local water ways are doing with the bite. One thing I've been really trying to learn from your vids is how to chatterbait fish. Now that i know you use a glass rod I think that will help. I was thinking of getting a shimano SLX DC real as my next upgrade. Do you have much experience with the "DC" reals? Thanks for the frequent uploads and hit me up if you want to fish the Alameda rock wall for some halibut.
