Hi Gustaf, nice video and also great to see you co-hosting with Will. You both did an excellent job, thank you for that. EDM Tips is the best tutorial channel for music on the internet, no doubt about it.

Gustaf, nice video. And congratz for co-hosting EDM Tips with Will. The idea of creating your own white noise sweeps is amazing. I'm working on something new in a style that I haven't tried yet. And I've thrown several uplifters and downlifters from the ETCT to create a transition. But creating your own one is much more fun. And you can work with much more intention. And creating such a white noise machine is great. Thank you for the idea.

Hmm. I like most of these tips. One glaring obvious ommision however. How do we create our own white noise sweeps? Its ok saying you have Will's Ableton Rack, but how is that rack made?

Hi Gustaf thanks for the video. A good one to have that drop first is starting in session view. Automatically you will start putting clips next to each other and having the busiest part first. 😊

So less is more i think. But i would say it depends heavy on the style you are producing. If you have such a ambienty, slow track, Silence works really good. But if you are producing a club banger, silence is not your friend. Regardless, good tips to have at hand, thanks for that!

I love hearing other artists opinions of music production. If you pay close attention, everyone can snatch a piece of value out of it. Sometimes the most miniscule thing can connect a dot that makes everything you know more cohesive. I don't use risers, per say, but finding a way to connect the parts is more important than the parts themselves. I enjoyed the video.

To me, that main melody on the 1st song, sounds like it needs additional layers - or just better compression, maybe an OTT.

Nooooo @Will, Please don't become one of those channels that brings on other hosts! I'm sure this guy is great, but the whole reason I come back to this channel so often is because I love how YOU explain things. If I wanted to listen to someone else explain things, I'd go to another channel. This is just not the same on so many levels. :(

Mixing is subjective. If you follow these “rules” you’ll eventually come to a point of questioning why your music sounds like everyone else’s.

Do you ever share these devices and audio racks on your website? Would love to see a tutorial on this white noise generator.

Let me make this simple, is your song under 4 mins?, is the intro about 30 seconds?..That's the 1st place you start...That seems to be the 'Recipe'..Got me 55K plays ..this year alone.
