This is for the individual who made the comment about Concord losing Rudder Panels in flight. That ,in no way points to the Concorde being unsafe . It screams “C Check that was improperly done” human error. That British Airways Concorde landed safely. That’s when it was discovered. When the aircraft landed “safely” Engines have fallen off other aircraft, jets have landed with the nose wheel turned 90 degrees to the left, or with no landing gear deployed. Production wasn’t stopped for them either.

Before you board any plane you should ALWAYS ask to inspect the maintenance records , if they cant provide them the chances are the plane has NOT been serviced . You should refuse to fly in any plane that is unsafe :-)

A quick note: While it's true, the 777 does indeed have a superb safety record, it is no longer the largest twin engined commercial airliner. That distinction now belongs to the new A350-1000 by Airbus. Though it's not by much. Both aircraft are extraordinary and will keep commercial aviation well into the stratosphere as far as technology is concerned. As for the 737-8 MAX. I agree it should be removed from this list due to its current issues. Obviously there are numerous current aircraft that should be on this list. ✈

The statistic is useless. Meaningless. What means something is fatalities per passenger mile (hundred million passenger miles gives a manageable number). Hull losses is meaningless to the customer. They all end up as scrap anyway.
