@@matthewmaxcy1574 I wouldn't go so far as to say I obviously have no clue what I'm talking about. Seeing how I based that poorly worded comment off of something I has been looking into and reading up on. That bring, the general idea of animals that people would normally think of as herbivores may not always be strictly so. And, if they do happen to stray from their green diet, how often do they and why do they do so? Also, what causes it. Although, you did make me realize that I should have rephrased that statement to; Since deer, horses and cows have been witnessed eating small animal, such as birds, (and one strange case where a bull was killing sheep by biting off and possibly eating chunks of those that grazed with him.) I assume it wouldn't be too far of a stretch to imagine that moose might also practice the consumption of unknowing and trusting lil feathered critters. All in all, you are correct, in that I have been unable to find any resources that mention moose doing this too. I plan to keep looking though. I'm really curious how many of the recognized herbivores of today actually do eat lil animals. I apologize for my prior ignorant comment.

Story #5- Who the hell makes that kind of racket when you're trying to avoid some scary beast in the woods? Why did they promise each other that they would never tell a soul? I don't get it. (Plus, look at how well the antagonist kept his promise. 3 years later he tells anyone that will listen, on the internet!!) How did he get the bruises/marks on his arms? When did anything ever grab or touch him? And lastly, why did his uncle say, "Ron! Ron! What's going on?!" Could the uncle see or tell his nephew was terrified n acting weird? And if so, he must not of cared too much, since he doesn't wait for any answer or reply. Just "yells and screams so loud" that the kid couldn't hear anything over his uncle. It could a been a cool n fun lil story. But the things I listed just bugged me so badly, I ended up fully awake. I had been pretty much asleep by then at first. Oh well. Hello from just south of Little Rock CZARUS, You are probably in the vicinity of a close call that myself and an old buddy from Sheridan had with two of these creatures back in 1983. His name was Jody and he has passed away since, but we were in the Saline River Bottoms and I was working in the Logging woods back then and trapped on the side. One day he went with me hunting and he wanted to set a trap line himself and we watched two streams of bubbles come out from the bank below us and when they reached the shoals they came out of the river together and I had a scope on my rifle that I looked at them through and they were at least 6ft tall and in water up to the knees I guessed and I shot at one that was on the left and they turned and we watched the air bubbles come right back to the spot in the bank that I believe had an underwater cave of some sort and both times they stayed submerged the whole 350-400yds and let out a wahhh! sound from under water before the bubbles disappeared at the bank with a huge churning of water . We made a bee line back to my jeep and it freaked us out for a good while. I just thought I would share that with you and the others. I have been hunting them since and you might be surprised at the wood booger population in the southern region of this state. It changes the way you feel about being out in the boondocks or it did for me anyway. Be careful out there and be safe.

The story about the pack of animals, moose, ocelot, etc, running on their hind legs sounds like he was trying to portray a group of skinwalkers but just came out as a crack heads fever dream

More like some ignorant dumbass making up a story that sounds like he saw a white-mans skinwalker. Skinwalkers literally put the pelt of an animal on and shift into that specific animals form, and look exactly like that animal and walk like that animal

I'm armed when I hunt so there's not very many things you could put in a tree to scare me away.
