Eh, it might be region specific, (American obviously), but it is a big deal here. Also, the people in the video are American, as is the plurality, if not the majority of their viewership. Furthermore, some of the largest parades in the world are 4th of July parades. It just makes sense to me that SOMEONE would have mentioned it. It certainly makes as much sense as some of the things I have seen mentioned anyways.
