James' statement could be interpreted as "Hitler wasn't elected = we (fascists) didn't win" There is of course the off chance that he was just a liberal fumbling around, but since he isn't Bruce it would be rather weird for a liberal to randomly state they didn't win during a game that is still going on and being decided. If he was a liberal it would've been far more likely for him to say "Hitler wasn't elected so we didn't lose", as it was a point where fascists could win and liberals could lose.
