i struggle so much with moving my fingers that fast, i also struggle with picking/strumming. could you put some tips up to help with that? i’m just now learning how to play bass after a while of being in a dark place, it would mean a lot ❤️

Hey it's so great that you're learning to play!! I'll definitely think about posting tips, but it's honestly hard to play songs at the beginning so it's totally okay that it doesn't come that easy. it takes a lot of practice! I think it would help to slow down the video to play along and learn one small part, and don't start learning the next until you get it. you can also try learning songs like kill my time first, i think that one is not very complex and it would be a good practice for the next songs you learn. it will take time to play it well but, if you're slowly playing parts a bit better than before, you're on the right track. hope it helps, you got this! ❤️

I feel like it takes more effort to reach the frets than other players hahah. stretch your 4 fingers enough so that they can touch one fret each (you can reach all 4 frets without moving your hand) and make sure your hand is relaxed, lowering your thumb on the back helps too
