Being a teenager and listening to sounds good feels good really has helped not only me but so many others. Especially since this album talks about topics that are so relatable especially to younger people. Being able to grow up and have a album that has songs that resemble how you feel is so important and even though sounds good didn’t do “good” the album itself is not only important to myself but to so many others who feel the same way.

Sounds Good Feels Good is so very special to me. It captures youth and the insecurities that come with it and at the time it came out that meant the world to me. Even now looking back I think it holds up. The songs on this album have a sincerity about them that resonates with me very deeply. I love this album 🖤

The fact people were telling them Sounds Good Feels Good was a massive failure saddens and frustrates me SO much. I was 16 when it was released and at 22 it's STILL my favorite record of all time. I'm sorry but SGFG is my fave 5SOS album and you can't change my mind. But seriously, and I've written this previously, I'm realising listening to these vids is that new sounds are always being created, and that is how genres are created. So they looked up to bands like good Charlotte and that pop punk scene, and that sound made sense and resonated at that time. But life goes on, and people resonate with different sounds as time goes on. Which is where the youngbloods and calms are born. Eventually, 5SOS will create their own genre, and it will be the sound of the moment in time that we exist. So now I'm approaching their music so much more open minded and excited for whats to come.

Sgfg will forever be my absolute favorite album of all time, not even just by 5sos. The impact it has had on me as person growing up is insane, and I truly wouldn’t be half the person I am today if it wasn’t for this album. Sounds good feels good defined my pre-teen years, and now I still feel the effects it has had on me on the daily. It is very often I’ll find myself singing a song from it, or admiring the album cover (the first cd I ever bought). There was a time in my life, close to a year, where I would listen to sounds good feels good practically every day. These songs quickly became my life source, and my top definitely 2, maybe 3 5sos songs are all on it. Safety Pin, to this day, remains my favorite song of all time, with She’s Kinda Hot and Catch Fire closely following. Thank the heavens for Sounds Good Feels Good, and thank freaking goodness for 5 Seconds of Summer, for to you, I owe all of me.

2015 5sos have a very special place in my heart. I remember the day the dates for the american tour came out and I saw that they came in my city. I screamed and called my friends while crying. The day the album came out, I had a sleepover with my friend, we listened to the songs at midnight and we were up at like 6am to buy our tickets for the tour at 10am.

Can't believe how under appreciated SGFG is! That album speaks volumes and it's so special to me and so many other people. during the sounds good feels good era i started listening to 5sos for the first time, and not only because of that but also because of all the topics the album covers that are very close to my heart, just made me such a fan and this whole era has such an important place in my heart ❤ I still to this day listen to SDFG a LOT. Broken home... Jet black heart... Invisible... they all just hold such a special place in my heart. It really helped me with a lot of things in my life, its a big comfort for me too. it really made me fall in love with this band, and now 5 years later I'm still very much in love with the band and the music they're making. it's just a big part of my life I'm never forgetting and never letting go ❤

As a teenager, I'm so grateful to have a chance to grow up with such an amazing album. SGFG is literally amazing it really helped me (still does), it helps me to cope with my problems and insecurities. A lot of the topics are so important to me. It really made me feel to love myself. Their last show in Sydney was the 102nd concert for the year! That’s a show every 2 or 3 days, BUT in a different City or Country. If you factor in the travel it would be exhausting even if you just travelled, yet alone had to perform for hours each show !!

2015 was one of the worst years of my life and sounds good feels good, especially broken home, invisible and vapor, really got me through some of the hardest, worst times i had ever experienced. listening to outer space/ carry on and hearing “you know it’s going to get better” over and over brought me a hope i didn’t even know i needed. impactful more than i realized at the time the album truly changed a ton of lives.
