This game is looking absolutely gorgeous. I like how the graphics are pretty standard for 2016, but the aesthetics are amazing. The art style and pastel look makes it almost look fairy tale like and complements the serenity and slightly melancholic tone of the music. The gameplay looks fun and complex with multiple approaches to any given situation. A large variety of weapons, a gigantic over world, 100+ mini dungeons, an intriguing plot, Nintendo you've really out done yourselves! I think we'll finally find a middle ground for fans of 3D Zelda and fans of 2D Zelda, and a lot of us couldn't have asked for more. Personally, I like all Zelda whether 2D or 3D (lets not mention the CDI), so this is just what I needed. The fact that we can notice all these things in a one minute trailer is amazing. In other words, I'm hyped! Keep up the good work GameXplain and Nintendo ;)

+Ahmad Alhashmi I think that would be very likely. IIRC, the Sheikah have only ever had one member (Impa) of their race present in any given game, so this game would be great to further explore the Sheikahs. (Sheik is just Zelda, so she isn't actually a Sheikah. Probably.)

1:35 if you look in the background behind the fountain you can see that pink and black fog / magic or whatever it is that surrounds the castle in the gameplay videos. Maybe this scene is for when link enters the castle but then there's those spokes coming out of the ground every where suggesting that link is in a world where Ganon has taken over. The sparkles that float around him reminds me of the silent realms too.

But then how do you explain the Castle Town fountain? I mean, I guess its possible that they founded Hyrule with that fountain included and then it got destroyed in time for this game (and then rebuilt it in time for Twilight Princess), but the fact that the designers made it look so similar to the Twilight Princess one seems like they were trying to make a specific point about this game's place in the timeline. Still, we can only guess at this point, so you may very well be right... :)

I was also thinking the possibility of Ganon realizing that he never wins (in a future timeline) and go back to the past (in this game's timeline) to take over Hyrule for good, invading with these mechanical robots, the guardians, and literally changing the future (all the previous games) creating a new timeline. That would explain why Link awakes 100 years after the invasion and why there are a lot of familiar places in this game. But that's my guessing as you said, it's fun to think of theories with so little!

For those who are saying "oh look....no voice acting" i think Nintendo will take the Xenoblade Chronicles X approach! Definitely not Loftwings, this game takes place after Twilight Princess, by which time Loftwings either evolved into the Oocca or went extinct. Also, you do realize the timelines have multiple Links right? It's not just one link throughout the whole timeline.

The past of this game is likely going to be directly after SS and the present of this game is going to be set around the same time as TP. What you are looking at is the downfall timeline, set in the same era as TP. Those are DEFINITELY loftwings, they look like them and they fly like them.

GameXplain I know this may be a bit of a stretch but in every Mainline Zelda game it seems the master swords sheath is different. Ocarina of Time Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword all have different sheath styles between games for the master sword , but the one showed off on this trailer I know this is the same one that's in Skyward Sword 100% no differences. look for yourself. compare it to the Skyward Sword version & the Twilight Princess version and you will see it's exactly the same as in SS. so what does all this mean... No clue

Absolutely right! I noticed this right away. We still seem to be getting quite the mix of timelines in this game. The bird race aren't quite the Rito we have come to love. They are more bird than human vice the semi-transforming Rito of WW. The inclusion of Hyrule Castle Town (with a striking resemblance to the one seen in TP) has me totally confused. I can't wait to see with what Nintendo does with this.

There's two bird/human races already in Zelda. You got those from Wind Waker, and a separate race in the Ocarina of Time Manga that doesn't appear in the games. I wonder if these new birdpeople are gonna be either of those, or something completely new.

In the scene where the bird appears, if you look at Link's hip you can see he doesn't have the Sheikah Slate
