Something I'd like to see on this channel: your take on various denim brands. Not a jeans by brand review like stidewise does but more of a " what makes that brand special", a bit like you've done for Benzak (oh yeah and thanks for intro, it's cost me yet another, albeit reasonable, wad of cash).😊

Would love to learn more about the cotton mixes , slub, and nep denim. A deep dive into cotton sourcing and the different finishes they produce and how they wear in.
@CeeAreDee3 жыл бұрын
Hey mate. Yeah, super good idea and I have looked into it... or am continuing to look into it. Cotton sourcing is just a very very very big topic and I will wait till I have more concrete info before committing it to a vlog. Cheers.

Love you’re videos, new to raw denim and loving it! But what I miss, is some kind of jeans overview, i database where you can put measurements in, and then it would tell what brand and model would fit. In a world of web shopping that would be a killer site!

Sir would you please make video on how to check better quality and low quality denim jeans plz bro I have been searching this for a long time

I’m def a fan of one washed / rinsed loom-state denim - it’s just doing what I would have done before wearing. I do soak sanforised - but I do like that crispy starchy stiffness for a while at least.

Yeah, its good, right! Was gutted when I had to wash my 3sixteens early.

I love my one wash TCB 50s, they fit great. Plus the heaviest weight I ever wore was 16oz. I've tried on 21oz and with each step it felt like the denim was punching my junk with each step. It was like wearing leg armour.
@CeeAreDee3 жыл бұрын
Haha, yeah I know what you mean, they can really pinch your balls when they are new and crispy. 😩

@@CeeAreDee depending on the fit, I've been able to wear long johns under my heavier denim. Saves my balls and the back of my knees.

You could talk about where you can get your denim fixed and tailored. I'm still trying to find a good denim tailor.

Hey Matt, great blog entry 👏🏻 Heard on the Denimheads Podcast that loomstate and unsanforized is not necessarily the same. Often unsanforized denim has underwent singeing to burn off hairiness. Loomstate will never have underwent singeing. Thought that was interested and wanted to share ;) HNY to you mate ✌🏻

New to denim collecting and I desperately need to clear things up. I hear denim shrinks, then I hear denim expands. Which is true? He said the denim is thirsty and needs water and they shrink? How is that possible if you are saturating a dry fabric, it expands doesn’t it?
@nickcoles9246 Жыл бұрын
Both are true. Unsanforised will shrink by up to 10% when soaked/washed. It will then stretch back out with wear. Sanforized jeans will have much less shrinkage but will still stretch in the areas under tension; waist will typically stretch out 1 inch. It will then shrink with washing (and stretch back out, rinse and repeat). HTH.

I wish i would wear an denim like you suggested but its hard to find such denim in Nepal, even the tailor person don't know much about denim how to sew them properly in case if we go to tailor our denim they will destroy it .
