I cold soak and cold wash inside out then hang to dry. I will put them into the dryer on the no heat setting with a fabric softener sheet for my heavyweight pairs (18oz and up). Cheers!🤘😎

they were already pretty popular in the 1960s and such, too. Morrison and Fogerty and other crossover artists bridged some gap well before Travolta came along. I could likely cite also James Dean and Last Picture Show images that are already o'er ten years apart the whole decade.

Real Western Riding boots ARE Work boots, and I haven't seen much that fit the description since the Made In USA ones from previous decade ago.

down jackets tend to rip more easily due to the material. Whereas, Sheepskin is a bit more durable (though it too can rip).

Not a fan of western boots. I was once, and a Lot of “American” boot brands are made in Mexico. And unfortunately, China.

I know you made this video four years ago, but I would love to find one of those particular jackets. Special #3. Their jeans are wonderful in this special as well! I wonder if anybody has tried to duplicate the pea juice. I know kind of funny, but who would’ve thought it! Can you anybody knows where I can get one of those jackets send me a message. I’ll try to figure out how to know that I got a message.

If the only 'big' nitpick he seems to have has to do with stuff outside of the actual jeans, then clearly these have earned their place as a good buy. I have the Kaihara straight leg from the Tokyo Ginza store. It's got rivets and they definitely wear and feel as good as the more expensive japanese jeans I own from Pure Blue Japan. It'll be a sad day when I finally wear through them in like 3-5 years.

The Ashby being no longer made in England is a negative for me... The Beaufort covers all of the shortfalls that the Ashby and the Bedale have... The Ashby is a great jacket but it has become a Barbour on a budget since production moved abroad.

Everyone knows by now ,looking by the reactions , that selvedge denim is not " better" but the just same as non selvedge denim. It's a retro look and a hyped niche ...just like " raw denim".

This probably needs an update. They are both owned by Luxottica. Chinese monopoly of terrible sunglasses. Both brands are living off their early days before their acquisition. They are both now mostly plastic garbage. Persol are marginally better than Ray Ban

Absolutely not. What man things do you do to say this dumb shit? Have you ever cut wood, worked on vehicles, built anything, or worked in a labor intensive environment? If not, drop your man card off at the next gay bar when you take your new boyfriend home.

So I was under the possibly incorrect impression that raw denim was sought out because it had less processing and was therefore more durable in the long run. That appeals to me but what I've also noticed is things like crotch blowout, I've never seen that with typical mall brand denim, the only way my jeans have really worn out is at the pocket where my phone rubs the same spot. So is the lack of stretch in typical raw denim meaning the fabric is more durable but also more likely to tear in certain places?
@alanschmitt986524 күн бұрын
Crotch blowouts, and tears in “raw” denim generally, usually mean they haven’t been washed enough. Dirt and whatnot can work into all of the little crevasses that are difficult to clean without a full wash, and this can cause the denim to both dry out faster and lose strength between the fibers. That’s my understanding, anyway. Unbranded (who I think are a sister company of Naked & Famous) offer a few options with “stretch” fabric blended into the denim, if that’s something that appeals to you.

I own a ridiculous amount of Ray Bans and Persol sunglasses. While I’m relatively new to Persols I prefer them over my Ray Bans. The quality is just way better on the Persols. That being said I pick my sunglasses for the day by what I’m wearing.
I don't think unbranded jeans are Japanese. It doesn't say it anywhere on their site. Like it does on naked and famous site. In fact, it says made in China on unbranded's page. I'm not sure if that is referring to where the fabric is from and or just where they are sewn and put together. Either way if they were Japanese I think they would mention it.

Basically, not so much "vintage" more retro inspired. Retro means, new, but made to look old and vintage is actually old.
