I'm a teacher and I just wanted to let you know that you're doing such an amazing job with your kids! I just recently found your channel and I love it! I love your Montessori inspired play room, how you rotate their toys, and all the sensory activities. You're definitely setting them up for success in school! 💕

Thank you for the video! I have a 16 month old and have been wanting to get started with sensory bins but didn’t have any direction. I would love to see more videos on easy ways to play with toddlers. ☺️

My toddlers favorite thing ever is reading books haha. And me carrying her around and letting her to point to things and me telling her what it is. Love these cereal sensory bins! I think mine may just eat the cereal lol but I’m definitely trying some of these out. Perfect for hot weather days. Normally I take her outside for sensory because our backyard is grass, her sandpit and water table, then the woods, but it’s been so hot! Occasionally we get a beautiful morning where it’ll be around 60 degrees and we play right after breakfast, sometimes before.

Those who are concerned about the price of cereal- look at bulk stores! Big bulk bins for much much cheaper than traditional boxes. Also off brand cereal, or even just cheap oatmeal, ground up, etc!

How do you get him interested in the activities like actually playing attention to colors instead of just wanting to play however? I recently started watching twin toddlers age 2 and all they want to do is watch peppa pig and play random instead of actually focusing on what I’m trying to teach

I'm a teacher - try introducing academic activities that involve Peppa! Maybe try labeling cups with pictures of each character and have them sort pom poms or other items by color. Peppa gets pink pom poms, dinosaur gets green, etc.

Food waste has become so normalised due to the huge rise in popularity with sensory activities, I'd highly encourage everyone to seek out alternative materials, rather than food.

@@KileanRodriguez for more sensory activities? If so, I still consider this food waste as food is supposed to be eaten. This is by no means a knock on you, I'm speaking generally.

Cereal is expensive nowadays. Especially since the crisis in Ukraine. The wheat fields burn there.

There’s such a nicer way of saying things like this, I don’t understand why people go straight to rude and judgmental? The amount he consumed is minuscule and not even comparable to giving him a bowl of cereal which if I wanted to is totally fine and shouldn’t be shamed, even though I have actually never. Although I did reuse the cereal and it can still/will be consumed I do understand your comment on food waste and will be more aware in the future. Thanks 🥰
