I took on, 2 sets of 2 kittens nearly 1 year ago 2 were 7 weeks old and had, had little to no human contact their mother was a 0-1 and had a raw sore belly where the kittens were trying to feed from her but in her condition she was unable to satisfy them, I took them and placed them in a large quiet cupboard. They were keen to eat but had not had kitten food before so tummy upset was bad for a few days, the comfort of being on my lap on a very hairy blanket side by side to have a bottle of milk each allowed me to have a chance to stroke them and get them used to human contact, their mother had taught them about the litter box so had no trouble getting them to use it though the first few days of upset tummies ment accidents of which they seem shameful they had not used the litter box but calm soft voice saying 'never mind it's not your fault' helped, they had never played with toys and where a little reluctant to touch they but that soon changed! The other set of 2 kittens were 1 1/2 weeks old and we're in a bad way I sat for 24 hour in a chair with them in a blanket bring them back to life, they were very dehydrated as the mother couldn't get to them to feed them for about 12 hours it was touch and go but the next day we found out which one of the cats was the mother, I place the kittens in a large box and took them to her and placed her in the box the kittens latched on straight away though shocked she realised they were hers and began to bond with them at 3 weeks I started to feed them solids every day and mother took this time to clean, sleep, and eat she seemed to trust me to look after them for that time and being a very young cat thinks she liked the help we then found out that the cat to the first set of kittens I took was also the mother to the 2nd sets mother so placing them together help the first mum over losing her kittens she helped her daughter to bring up the 2nd set of kittens when they left the box for a pen/run so the younger kittens could move around more they got toys early on and mother being a young kitten herself loved to play with her kittens at eight weeks she became less interested in there care so I brought them home to my house and put them in the cupboard where I had put the first 2 kittens which I had moved to a large play pen in the playroom that they would eventually share with the smaller kittens. They I am happy to say joined together after a couple of days spitting and swearing at one another through a see through curtain and a now well rounded spoilt little princesses that I love dearly, all have their own strong personalities but all allow Mommy to do what she needs to do to them but only in the ways they will let me😁❤️❤️❤️

My Manx cat is 7 years old and has never been affectionate. She’ll let you pet her and pick her up but don’t expect purrs and love returned unless it’s feeding time. She’s only food motivated. I feel unappreciated and taken advantage of. 😂 I have to clean her litter box and feed her but get nothing in return.

I have a Bombay. She loves to cuddle first thing in the morning and comes to me mid morning and early afternoon for hug sessions. She loves to have her belly rubbed! She spends the evening stretched out on my legs whenever I watch TV. But at night, she’s a huntress….look out!!

I have female angora along with two Persians (a male and a female). Angora wouldn't let me cuddle so I thought she doesn't like it. I wouldn't cuddle it but it turned out she wanted special treatment. I started cuddling and kissing her and loving her more even against her will (i always do it for less than 15 seconds and she was held lightly). Eventually she wants even more cuddles now and started jumping in my lap for kisses and hair brushing.

They love to cuddle, be nice to them. Get an older cat or kitten, they will brighten your life forever. Just leave the water and food out. Change the litter box every 7 days if needed or less or it’s a outside cat. Easy stuff.

highly highly recommend looking into Jackson Galaxy, he is the host of cats from hell. His lessons in the show were so helpful on helping my cat be more social and lovey!
