Matt, best short game lesson EVER. Like most mid level 18-20 handicapers I struggle with this. Well no more. Today in Phoenix Az 112 degrees so I had the course to myself. Used your technique and WOW I got it 98 % of the time. Had the course to myself so I practiced several different lies. If I hit a bad one I quickly realized sternum forward to get weight forward. Shot 12 over today. No bump and runs! Thanks for your excellent instructions.

Totally grateful and appreciate your simplified and clear take on tuition. I try to find my way back after 4 years good pause, and realize lots of previous tuition (here me in Spain) was mores business protection, than getting players out on their own feet. BIG CHEERS, from and older buy in Denmark, you are 👍

Between the three of ya...Rick, Pete, and yourself, you’ve got loads of things to focus on and learn from! I mean just brilliant instructions from all of ya and really fun videos to watch when your together messing around on a course! I absolutely love all your vids and I think you do a fantastic job! Thank you for all of the help. Really need to start focusing on each shot at hand. I get complacent throughout the round and take shots for granted. My most annoying moments are when I’ve hit a fantastic drive and left myself with just a short wedge shot on to the green and I totally “duff” as you would say. I feel I don’t just take a moment longer to focus on the little things and commit to a solid shot. Literally just happened this past weekend lol. For anyone reading I can attest to this...just take a moment and really focus on what your wanting to do with every shot and don’t take any of them for granted. It’s the easiest shots that I can really make a mess of when I’ve set myself up well for a great second shot and just totally blow it. This video is great and something I need to remember to think back on when I’m out. Thanks again for all the great vids!!!

Cracking video Matt. I think the tips are applicable to all levels of golfer. I think tip number 1 is especially relevant even to a low handicap golfer. I have been playing this wonderfully frustrating game for 30 years and have maintained a low handicap throughout. Even now off a +1, I still need to realise I am not a touring pro and don't have the time to practice as much as I would like. That first tip is something I can apply a lot and is useful to me as I do face that shot quite often. It may be on a par 4 where I have put myself out of play through a poor tee shot but more often it is on a longer par 5 where I can't quite reach in 2. That tip will result in me making way more birdies than bogeys and I should never ever make worse than a par.

Pace control has helped my putting so much. I just try to have the mindset to 2 putt everything. If I get the ball within a couple feet of the hole, that's always a win for me. Every once in a while I get one in, but limiting 3 and 4 put holes has helped lower my score a ton.
