The point of produce and creating these groups was to promote artists from different companies, so that when they returned to their respective companies, they would already have a fanbase. That is why Izone was given a time frame of a year and a half. Their companies will want to promote them under their own label. Many companies were hesitant to join produce at first cause they didnt want swing entertainment to permanently take their idols. WM is going to be debuting a new girl group. Starship is planning on debuting a new girl group. Akb48 likely wants their members to return to their groups. Yuehua will likely promote Yena as a solo artist. There were also rumors that she would join Everglow but they weren't confirmed. I'm not sure what plans Woolim has for Eunbi and Chaewon but I'm sure they have something in mind. Some say they will join their newest girl group and some say they will be solo. Both Hweyon and Minju were previously models/ actresses...so its likely they'll go back to that like Sohee. Its not up to Swing Entertainment or even the members. Its up to the companies that signed them in the first place. And thats assuming that they all agree to it. There is also the issue that the line-up was rigged. I think some people cut Izone slack cause the group is temporary but if it becomes permanent, I worry about that stirring up more outrage in Korea. Internationally it isn't that big of a deal cause we didn't get to vote but in Korea, they paid money so their picked idol could debut.

Reason why Sakura and Nako’s uniform picture was different then the rest of the members of HKT48 is because since Sakura, Nako, and Hitomi is going on a hiatus from AKB48 and HKT48 for 2 and 1/2 years they cannot participate in any activities from their Japanese Group and also everytime when there’s a new year all of the 48-gen groups take their new Uniform Photoshoot, so that explains why Sakura, Nako and also Hitomi’s uniform picture was different. Also their uniform pictures was taken in 2018 which that was the year when they did PD48 and got debuted. And usually when a Japanese member graduates from their 48 group they have to announce it at one of their concert to the fans but Sakura Nako and Hitomi didnt made it official to graduate from their group yet.

Hitomi wasn’t super popular in 48G. Also at this point, it’s likely they’re making more money from IZ*ONE than in 48G. They’re active in 2 markets, don’t have any debts to pay off now or in the future, and IZ*ONE has only gone up in popularity and sales since debut.

Here’s my opinion has a wiz*one since PD48 . As much as it will absolutely destroy me the day iz*one disbands I want to know the Jlines perspective as well. OFC I know they love IZ*ONE & WIZ*ONE but i know they worked so hard for their groups AKB/HKT and I’m sure they miss Japan at point as well. I want what will make IZ*ONE (each member) happy. To me I belive when the time comes I won’t be ready but I will be able to say goodbye if they disband . I just want complete happiness to EVERY SINGLE MEMBER . Pretty sure that the members all want to stay in IZONE permanently. Even Sakura has said IZONE is her second family, while her real family is obviously #1. Pretty sure that would piss off her 48G fans, but she still said it anyway. Most of the members have publicly said they would want to be reborn as an IZONE member and want to stay together. Even though, no one asked them that question. Yena has said it a couple of times already and she even wished for IZONE to become permanent on her birthday. But I don't think they will disband this coming April. I feel like the company is going to act like it's the end by not saying anything, just so they can sell more and milk them for every penny. Since, it's obvious that they're going to sell more that way. And then, all of a sudden, announce they extended their contracts by another 2.5 or 3 years. But I hope they use X1's unused 5 year contract. Which makes IZONE a 7½ group, which is the time when groups mostly disband anyway. The reason why they have a high chance of extending or MAYYYYBE a slight chance to become permanent is because - all the Korean members are still considered trainees in their respective companies and jline can graduate whenever they want. Sakura is already a 7 year veteran in 48G and they all graduate around that time anyway. And if Sakura leaves for IZONE, then you already know that Nako is going to follow. Hitomi became big through IZONE and so it's obvious what road Hitomi is going to choose. Besides IOI, other Produce groups had a member that had already debuted in a group. So, this puts IZONE in a special position and gives them an advantage as well. Also, Produce series is cancelled and no other Produce project groups can be made. This literally makes IZONE the last group standing for the PD series. Which gives them a lot of room to work with.

The main problem why they can't guarantee extend their contract is their on agency aspect...either they offer a new contract agreement but its depend of their on agency share profit income to get. some of them demand more money and other agency will be more demanding more aspect and cj enm is like a bargaining style offer and offer birds right equal profit of their idol trainees etc... Cj Enm can continuous or extend their group but not in their on agency side..they will be debate price or share income to get both side...so hard but this is the reality in korean ent industry today money always involved..

@@afififim6131 Going back to HKT would greatly reduce what she's capable of. Lessons like vocal, dance, choreography, composing, language, acting, etc; going back would stunt her talent and growth. Its good for HKT but its not good for Nako or the other jlines. Starship's WJSN is already 5 years old, next year they would probably launch another group, and if they would sign the jlines it would be a happy ending, a group with the jlines, Wonyoung and Yujin.

I'm a wiz*one and would love for them to be permanent, but just some corrections :) The photos for the HKT girls not being updated is something that always happens when someone isn't an active member currently, whether that be from taking a break or promoting in a different group. For Hitomi, the context of the video message and her "character" in Japan makes it really clear it's a joke for the sake of the show.

As an avid HKT48 fan, Sakura is one of the ace [together with Haruppi (graduated)] of HKT, and is the next queen to be of AKB48 as far as i know. To be honest, i want to see Nako and Sakura perform at the new theater. But at the same time, I am also a kinda seasonal Wiz*one and it's hard to choose. Well the decision is in their hands (company x girls). As long as they are happy, we support. Happy 15th Anniversary to AKB48!

Vernalossom cannot do anything to make IZONE bigger if we're being honest here. IZONE's Japanese promotion don't do anywhere near as good as their Korean promotions on a GLOBAL SCALE. In Japan, yes. IZONE does sell a lot and all that. But that's pretty much restricted in Japan. With their Korean songs, they top charts in various countries and even get into the Billboard Charts as well.

I'm not sure but if they became permanent, it is unfair for the other produce groups like IOI and WANNA ONE since both of them became popular and if they continue they can even compete as the popular KPOP groups like BLACKPINK & TWICE if IOI continue and EXO and BTS if WANNA ONE continue. I'm a WIZ*ONE and I love them but because of the issue of the Produce series I don't think it can be permanent. It may affect other aspect especially their mental health. About the pictures of Nako and Sakura, it was said that they won't promote in HKT until the disbandment of IZ*ONE same as Hitomi, that is why their photos there are not updated because they are in Haitus being a HKT member. I think Yena will be added to Everglow because they can change the positions and will get some lines from their old songs, might be the same as Chaewon if added in Rocket Punch. But if they extended their contracts hope for the best for the girls.

the HKT48 uniforms for Nako and Sakura probably aren't really valid clues. since they have been with IZ*ONE, the two of them most likely have not taken new uniform pictures for HKT, so the pictures are likely the ones from before they left, with the older uniforms. Because currently, they are officially on hiatus from HKT48 and not doing any promotional activities, which would include pictures for the theater. I believe the same thing happened while Miyazawa Sae was in China, after she voluntarily dropped the concurrency with AKB48 to focus on her work with SNH48; her picture in the AKB theater didn't get updated until she came back.

Please guys stop deluding your selves, your just gonna make it harder for yourself when they actually disband. Everyone also said the same for i.o.i, wanna one and X1 but they still disbanded. The thing is even if they didn't want to disband them it would be virtually impossible. Iz*one members are already signed to different agencies which is why the group can't be permanent and even if they wanted to leave their agencies and become an actual group they probably couldn't because they are now see as valuable to their agencies and will undoubtedly attract attention to any group they join. And let's say they didn't leave their agencies and continued on as a permanent group like this, no agency would ever agree to it.

Just let them go. They are good, they are fun, and it was nice seeing them together. But it's time to let them go. It sucks to go, but y'all knew and this was applied to all produce groups. But, please think about, Nako, Honda, and Sakura, they worked hard and missed many things like Sasshi's graduation(Someone Nake and Sakura looked up to and). You can't prevent the inevitable. Moneywise, yes it's dumb, but logic wise, it wouldn't make sense to keep a group that had a timer and it was going to tick down. Please just give them back. If you make them permanent, you cancel their positions in AKB48 and HKT48. They probably will only go back just to make their graduation song or single, have their graduation concert and theater and say goodbye. This is just wrong.

I really don’t think they will let izone stay in a group. First of all, it would be very unfair to the other produce groups who had to disband, and they literally have a legal contract that will end and while they can renew it... I doubt that will happen. Iz*one has become such an amazing group and I hate that they have to disband but let’s just enjoy it while it lasts and follow the members in the future groups or solo careers.
