I have been invested in someone for 9 years. I decided to stop hoping and leave it to prayer. I was chasing a man for 9 yrs from the time we met when we were 15 to 24 years old and he always gave me signs he was interested but i never crossed the line with him tho i was very interested in him as well because something seemed off i would always get signs from The Lord that i should not go down that path no matter how my flesh wanted me to After 9 years i met another man who was nothing like who i had been chasing but i was constantly getting signs that i should get to know him and learn more about him One day i was traveling with my mother and her boyfriend to see our family 500 miles away and i was asked by my mother if i wanted to stop and see this man i had been chasing and so i text him and told him i wanted to visit with him and he asked if i wanted to spend the night and thru texting back and forth i admitted to him that i was a virgin and had been saving myself for the man i was to marry and that i thought that man was him After a long wait he text back and basically told me he likes rough sex and that i needed to go and have sex with a bunch of other men to figure out "how to have real sex" before he would even consider being with me I was heart broken and blocked his number as i took that as the final sign from Jesus that he was not meant for me and as much as it hurt i cut out all feelings for him from my heart and took comfort in the fact that Jesus protected me and guided me from going down a dark path Close to a week later i got a text from the man i had recently met at my new job (i had felt compelled to give him my number before leaving on my trip to see family but didn't expect anything) and he was asking if he could take me out on a date and we could get to know each other but by the time i got back to town his step brother had stolen his wallet with all of his money his driver license and everything so we just spent time together at the trailer i was renting with a friend He at one point started to come onto me and he was surprised at my reaction to him and asked if i was a virgin and i said yes and he immediately backed off and said he would let me set the pace 9 years later and we have a 6 yr old little boy and I'm pregnant with a baby girl and we're stronger together than i ever thought possible and i was just looking last week at a new ring because my first was stolen by my mother's boyfriend (same guy from earlier) and he sold it to buy drugs I don't want too know what my life would have turned out to be if i hadn't listened to Jesus and ignored him for what i thought was best for my life I'm so glad i leaned on the knowledge and understanding of The Lord instead of my own flawed view of what was right for me because now i have a little family that has been so blessed by God because we walk in His light to lead us thru this dark world Your story really touched my heart and i hope you're doing well

Man, there really are no coincidences in this world. I literally just got home from a date. Since I'm new to Christianity, it's been hard to know how to balance my love of God and Christ with finding the woman he's made for me to be with. Wow , that explains why "he" have always been my type and in the same time the person who makes me anxious,deppressed,worry,unpeaceful and uneasy . You should pray about it...its often really tricky to find out whether somebody nice in your life is God sent or devil sent (romantic or not). I'll be praying about it for you to. I have been trying to figure out whether somebody in my life is God sent or devil sent because this person helps me so much, has so much fruits of the spirit but at the same time no red flags is a red flag. This person is just so good; especially to me that it often times makes me suspicious. Just pray and fast constantly about it and you'll be fine. May God Almighty bless you. Have a goodnight and day. Hi thank you so much for bringing Gods light to shine on so many. I am experiencing something though that I had a question. So I am involved in a relationship. I am a very strong believer in God and have a really strong relationship with Him. I can feel that I always have. I’ve had actual visual visions of Jesus Mary and St Therese. When I met my girlfriend she didn’t believe in God. And I know what the Old Testament says but I believe that Jesus can make you whole in the New Testament. So that being said I brought my gf to my church I’m Catholic btw. She received all her sacraments. She had slept with almost 20 people before me dating her. She Was raped as a child and had a rough life. So I felt like I could help bring her to God. However there really was no peace. Always constant arguing. Money troubles. Attention issues. Jealousy. And I was a virgin when I met her but she was not. So the devil had tempted me into many different things such as sleeping with other girls to get even with her even though I was hurting God and myself in doing so. Especially in a world where it’s hard to compete against a woman. Depression, not caring about my life. All Due to the devil making me feel incompetent not only to myself but to my gf Also. And the things she said or how she made me feel. And this does happen. It’s not like oh he’s a cheater what a horrible person. No it actually felt like something I couldn’t control over and over again not being enough. Someone who missed out on life for sacrificing my virginity to God. Even though when I was a virgin I felt so special so connected with God. And so peaceful. Was I sad? yes. However the peace and happiness with God overlooked that. Even though she is in love with me and is very attracted to me I struggle with just being respected as a man by her. I am just asking her to do the things as a Catholic. Pray read the Bible go to church and follow God. Say the rosary go to confession receive communion. And just to evolve as a Catholic. Pretty much what God calls a everyone to do. And she can’t do that. I know there are very powerful spiritual forces going both ways and I can feel them both. God always wins but you can really feel the disgusting things that the devil does and how sneaky and disrupting he is. Anyways we’re in two different states now and share a child and it’s very hard because I want my daughter to grow up with her dad and she won’t allow that unless she is in a relationship with me. Otherwise she will keep my daughter away from me. She has cheated as well but does believe in God and is sorry and doesn’t want to do it again. But you never know. It is just very hard because of how much I give and how much I love and how little I am respected. She has gotten me in legal trouble and charges for fighting with her which would make it hard to get my daughter back if we were to go to court. No physical harm just the book was thrown at me from how the argument looked with broken personal belongings and so forth. I never would harm her no matter how mad I got but she has beaten me so many times. It’s really hard to stay with someone especially when you know your self worth but you give freely and knowingly because you believe God can save that soul. However there is just no peace. No respect. And as much as I try it feels so stressful. And believe me I’ve tried so so so hard to teach her the ways of Christ. The ways of self less giving. The ways God wants you to live but I lost God in dating her. My temple always felt corrupt. Not like I used to. It felt blurry seeing God. And I’m not sure if it’s the lack of peace from not being single. But I mean I committed a horrible sin by fornication. Which is why I felt distant from God, But now you can’t just marry someone without sleeping with them especially today. I see other couples happy. Like they’re gf lit a candle of life over them. They accomplish new things and better themselves and improve. I just don’t get it. I need answers and help So if you or anyone in the comments would like to share your thoughts by all means please do. Because I literally believe everything God does is for a reason. Just need another perspective.

That is very overwhelming....and I'm sorry for what you and your wife have been through...Yk, I just received a conviction today and would like to share it with you. I had a misconception of how God works in our lives. As we learn about God and His Word, we become more and more independent from the world and then i realised, we're supposed to be the ones standing on our own feet because of the power in His Word which is why we are able to. His Word is the truth, the power, the strength that we need, the bread of our day, but it's upto us whether we put into action or not. It's upto us to listen or not, to get up and get it done or not, to accept or not, to do His will or not. The Holy Spirit will always be in us but it's upto us to whether let it direct us to the path God has for us or go along the path we want hoping for God to change something when it's clearly not following His Word. Although it is our job as Christians to spread His Word and Love, it is not to please the world. When we lose ourselves, that's what the devil was hoping for. By accepting such a relationship, the challenges would be high of course and the consequence was your weakening relationship with God. What you should have done was keeping God your priority no matter what and indulging in His Word because there is power in His every Word, enough to keep you steadfast. Typically, even if you guys broke up, you did your best, it was a long battle and now it's upto Him. But God knows your heart, He isn't gonna look at your past or what you did cause He still loves you just as before you met her, His love for you never changed. You know that. But, this time you can just absolutely focus on God because when you do, all other things will follow, give it all to Him and honor Him in whatever He has done and did. Simple but it really be just that we need to do. I have alot of reels saved in instagram which has really helped me alot to understand and know more about God that I would absolutely love to share with you. I'm actually in a similar relationship and it's been a few weeks but I'm determined to be strong for him and myself, I believe when it's time it will be time and I won't be disheartened but will do my best.
