They already failed to hide their feelings because they ended up confessing but refusing to admit confessing. Psych2Go does not pick examples about trying to sell themselves. There are even people who is already taken but still acts entitled to your feelings. If a person who is not available were to act entitled to take me, I would challenge them to bring their fiance. It's not hard for unrequited feelings to turn negative. Love and hate are said to be 2 sides of the same coin for a reason. Whether they're positive or negative can change at a moments notice depending on circumstances, but the intensity is always the same. I've felt it myself, as I really cared for someone that didn't care for themselves at all, they abandoned their own happiness for dependencies that made them miserable. They gave me the cold shoulder after long enough, and over time I could feel my positive emotions, my benefits of the doubt, turning to animosity towards the person she really was, and how much happier she could be with me, but was too dead inside to realize it. It's hard to control those 2 emotions, love and hate, the most.

Yes, my very first long term relationship ended in their death, second ended in them running away from me. I was toxic, abusive and not very aware of these things at the time. Got help, spent time away and realized some people aren't worth being with and how my first long term relationship had effected me. I'm a lot better now and don't do those things anymore. That's just the story of my whole life. It's one thing to have feelings for someone. It's something else entirely to have a relationship with them. There are so many things that can make a relationship untenable. It's hard to detect it when talking with someone online. You don't see physical reactions. Yet, this guy that I talk with, we chat almost every day, we make each other laugh, we ask each other's opinions on things. I haven't noticed anything off but I genuinely have no idea how he feels. I'm even still questioning why he chats with me when he has his irl friends to hang out with. Heck, he's texted me while out with friends. She's always my first priority, no matter if I'm with someone else and if she texts me I check as soon as possible. We talk about everything and make fun of ourselves to joke, but obviously my feelings are one-sided, so I prefer to be in the comfort zone, losting her would destroy me so... if you have feelings for him, talk with his friends and ask them if he told them something if you're scared to ask him. My friends who knows her don't know anything, but I am a super prudent person, maybe you'll find what you need to know. Good luck however

He's also very hard to read when it comes to deep emotions. However, he's a very straight-forward guy so if he did think of me in that light, he would tell me . . . probably? It's hard to say. I just don't want to scare him away. As for your lady friend, I think it's great that you and her have this relationship with each other. Who knows? Maybe she has seen you in a romantic light and she could be scared as well to say. She could also be trying to figure out what she wants for a relationship. Just be patient but definitely don't want for too long. Love is definitely complicated.

I have this on repeat with someone. We’ve been close for almost 10 years and on/off best friends, and one of us has confessed to liking the other a few times throughout that time - sometimes me, sometimes her, but regardless of who expresses interest first she immediately questions her feelings and breaks things off anywhere from a few hours to a day or so afterwards. I know it’s probably my own fault for not moving on, but at this point I find it hard to picture myself with anyone else. I recently started talking to her again when she was ill to try and help her through it, and already I can easily see the whole cycle happening again. It’s so confusing.

@@mohitsoni4938 Sure enough shortly after posting my comment she confessed to still liking me, but this time she made a point of saying she was confident about her feelings and wanted a serious relationship. I was a bit unsure at first but she made an effort to reassure me which was nice. We ended up dating for a few months, and it was fantastic for a while, but eventually things had barely progressed and I could tell her heart wasn’t really in it. This time I was the one who broke things off, and it was very very mutual (we broke up and then went to get coffee and chat after lol) and ultimately decided we should head our separate ways for good to stop this happening on repeat forever. Kinda disappointed it didn’t work out but very glad we got to give it a serious shot, and I couldn’t have asked for a better breakup!

It's definitely the flirting and jealousy part that my friend gives. Wants to be near me all the time, and whenever my friends there they get angry. They flirt with me a lot, saying dirty jokes and complimenting me often. I've told them I liked them before, but they said "lets just be friends" then one time they said they liked me but it was a prank. I'm not sure if they were actually being true or not or if they were just joking. Hi, so basically I’ve had a crush on this boy I’m my class for months now! We didn’t really ever talk to each other as we only have 3 classes together but recently he’s been saying hey to me and giving me fist bumps lol. Sometimes you do realize someone you're getting close to and care about isn't the best match. It happens, its not irrational beliefs or denying of feelings. Often it leads to the one side that likes someone becoming unhinged and manipulating because they want to force something that the other person feels will not work out. Thats the definitive nail in that relationship's coffin for sure. I really don't agree with the ending of this video because they don't really cover that.

I can agree with you on that part as well because if that person really want to hide that feeling, it should never involve playing hard to get or get 2nd thoughts of breaking out of the commitment. I know I hide my feelings from my crushes but I never deny my own feelings. All the people who thinks I am denying my feelings is because they truly want to force me to be interested in them. Anyone who thinks I am denying my feelings is because they don't know how to handle my rejection. I never have any attractive woman ask me out and if I ever did have an attractive woman asking me out and I know for sure she is not going to use me, I will not deny my feelings. All the people who denied their feelings is more like once they got that opportunity, they break their promise of being there and ended up changing their minds about not wanting a relationship. Some even choose to break up only because their excuse is they are shy.

This was actually the most helpful video for me so far. I feel like maybe some of the things might be accurate for this one person... they feel very in character for them... I'm not 100% sure though. Remember you have past experience of attracting someone in the past so there is no such thing as none of your past crushes became interested in you. I mean think about this. Before that person became your toxic ex, that person was your lover. So you just have to remember how you attracted your 1st crush and turned that person as your lover. You just have to learn from your past mistakes on why that person became your ex in the 1st place. I mean in the past, you attracted someone and got them to become your beloved. Then that person became your toxic ex. But now you just got to put yourself in a challenge where you attract your next crush and once you get into that relationship, you just have to make sure not to make the same mistakes as you did in your previous relationship. Yeah, I do know someone like that, he is still bothering me for his own denial or indecisiveness. I really really don't have the patience for such a person. If what you say is true, he is not a man, or a man with a little girl's heart, I've assured him countless times but he's not smart enough to realize, when he realized it, he second guess himself or he'll take my assurance as that's because he could manipulate me, he didn't see it as sincerity. so like, i had this situation the other day, met a girl a friends birthday party, and we got along super well, spent nearly every day of the next week together, talking, even cuddled on the couch for a movie, but like when i tried to kiss her she just blocked the approach and im getting ghosted since, she said she just needs time to think (almost 3 weeks ago now) but im not sure we know eachother that much yet that this time she wants could really be positive for the (hopefully upcoming) relationship, i dont really know what to do, i really like her and would want things to work out, anyone had a similar situation already? is there anything one can do other than just waiting for the inevitable no? and yeah i know you can not force anyone to like you yada yada but i feel like i had this situation so many times and no matter what i do it always seems to be wrong, wait too long, shes gone, go in too early, this situation happens, theres no way you can say, oh sry ma approach was too sudden, can we ignore that and just keep going where we left off before that happened right? i dont know, sry for the emotional wreckage

You got to expect that not everybody accepts a kiss on a first date. If you meet someone new, the rules of getting accepted is not to rush in for a kiss. So for me there's this guy who I know since I was a little girl and it's kind of like an on and off again crush on him. I've been wanting to confess but it seems like it's only one-sided because he doesn't put much of an effort to text me back or sometimes he left leaves me on read but whenever we are on zoom together he like really flirty and used to stay more time that we were supposed to. So last week my friend came over with her brother. I was on zoom and he too he saw that my friend's brother was there and he seemed very uncomfortable by that. Forward to this week when I logged in again he was acting really cold towards me. I think that's why the reason he was cuz he was jealous. Well, if you like him, and you guys are exes now, I would assume he doesn’t actually want to be in a relationship. Sometimes I still flirt with my “ex” impulsively, but that’s just because I get lonely occasionally and it’s easy to make a connection with her. In reality though, I love someone else. So here’s a tip, if he’s always texting you, instantly responding and things like that, there’s a high chance he still likes you. However, if you are the one sending text after text after text with only occasional responses from him, he most likely does not like you back.

If your crush really is serious about wanting to be your fiance, he would not be going back to his ex in the first place. Your crush cannot move on from his past relationship. Your crush is still stuck with his ex and ignoring the abuse. Anyone who wanted to get out of the abusive relationship would of cashed in like right now. Your crush did not cash in to get out of that dead relationship with his ex. So don't bother trying to fix him. He wanted to stay stuck in a broken relationship. Technically, your crush is not making himself available to date. He is not ready to leave end his relationship with his ex which means if you cannot detach yourself from him, you will be classified as a homewrecker.

Your crush thinks only for his reputation. He makes a big deal on what his friends or family thinks. That is why you have to be strong. So if he invites you to sit with him, say to him then what would your friends think. You got to an ultimatum. Either choose you or his friends. If he finds himself a need to get his parent's approval, he is either a mama's by or papa's boy or both. You can choose anyone you want as your friend but not someone who always seeks approval to be your friend. If anyone were to be your friend, it has to come from their own terms. If you choose to be friends with someone who keeps asking for a friend or family for approval, it is like putting yourself in a position to choose sides. It is not going to be an easy situation to make everybody happy.

Sounds like it is you that is hiding feelings for your crush. Not the other way around. Besides, Psych2Go's example is not a good example of hiding because hiding does not include exposing. Part of hiding feelings do not include confessing feelings. Those who hide feelings technically keep them to themselves which is exactly what you did. So it is your crush that needs to find if if you like him since you were the one hiding feelings. When Psych2Go tells you examples, it is meant to trick you into telling your crush your feelings which is not what you did. So you dodge a bullet by not confessing.
