You need to do a Belgian single, super easy, tons of complexity, and very satisfying. I have been working on my single recipe for a few years now and I have like 7 versions saved. This is my go to beer to keep on tap or bottled.
@NikitaVorontsov2 жыл бұрын
That’s actually a really good point, a single would be very satisfying and easy as it’s primarily just the yeast giving the flavour and complexity

I’ve not even decided on a mash kettle/boil pot yet but your videos are extremely inspiring. It’s always great to see and hear your expertise and enthusiasm. Awesome vid once again mate.🤓👍🏻Actually I’ve only recently got into brewing with mr beer kits and coopers kits here in the USA. But now want to get the full experience and so I’m weighing up the options. Keep up the great work !

@@NikitaVorontsov ‘ey up mate ! Many thanks for that, I appreciate it. I’m a 52 year old Yorkshireman in NY state. I’ve always wanted to try this brewing lark and finally I’m there. Loads to learn but I’m on my way. Once again many thanks Nikita and keep on brewing and inspiring!

Do you have a suggestion for a easy first time brewer sour ale?
@NikitaVorontsov2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely, for a sour beer I’d recommend going for a sour fruit beer using your favourite fruit. Go 50% Pilsner 50% wheat malt, any hope really to like 5 IBU bitterness and pitch some Philly Sour to it. Then add your freeze thawed fruits once the Philly Sour has finished fermenting

Smash beers are great for beginners but great for anyone…so many hops and base malts to choose from now. Ive never done a true smash beer yet but a pseudo pils smash with lutra is my next brew. Little off topic but have you tried hop dipping yet. Getting a lot of hype lately
@NikitaVorontsov2 жыл бұрын
Exactly, they’re great for both beginners and also just for trying different varieties. Still really tempted to make a Munich Malt Smash! I haven’t I need to look into hop dipping, what’s it involve?
@kenmcculloch62492 жыл бұрын
Munich smash would be interesting….from what I gather you hold back some water from your batch….maybe 1.5l heated to 170-180 and ad your hops to fermenter with the water for the entire brew day then ad the rest of your batch on top of it and ferment like normal….it kind of replaces the whirlpool additions but flavour is massive apparently…I only have plastic fermenters (all rounder) so when I try it I will use a smaller pot then ad it to fermenter after adding the rest of the batch. I would assume it would calculate the same ibus as whirlpool additions…still researching it my self.
@NikitaVorontsov2 жыл бұрын
That's very interesting, whirlpool does give some strong hop aroma and flavour. I wonder if this would be done in place of a bittering addition also?

In contrast to the title of EASY beers. Do you have a recommendation for a water profile to be used for the Piwo Grodziskie? Thanks
@NikitaVorontsov2 жыл бұрын
I don’t unfortunately! The well water hasn’t necessarily been well (get it?) analysed from what I understand so can’t really suggest a profile
@starwars1357 Жыл бұрын
I can as a pole. You should get 2.2 chloride to sulphate ratio. They use that water in grodzisk
@januszkszczotek8587 Жыл бұрын
@@starwars1357 Thanks!
@starwars1357 Жыл бұрын
@@januszkszczotek8587 Im so sorry i got it backwards and realised in the shower today. You should have 2.2 SULPHATES to 1 chlordies. Like in IPA. They also have high calcium and magnesium - about 350-450 HCO3 combined
