Im 5'4 and shortest in the group. I often won miss freshers in my school, the rose girl on rose day etc. My friends encouraged me to get into modelling, but Im only 5'4 !!! I'm almost 5'8 and never leave the house in anything other than heels. People always ask if I feel weird wearing heels and standing over people but that's what I want! My family is big, my dad is 6'4, mom is 5'9, 15 yr old sister and brother are both 6'0, so I've always been the shortest around them. Heels are amazing and the way you dress to your body can make a big difference on whether or not you look 5'10 or 5'2 in a picture.

Castings are just a room full of girls that want to get 1 job. Its not hard but its not easy to get booked, there's ALOT of girls out there. You just send photos to reputable agencies and send them your information and height, if theyre interested they will call you back :)

Every agency is different, but in my case, I applied at night and heard back the following morning! Good luck!

meghan pang it is always up to what the agency is looking for sometimes they are ok with girls who do not have the required measurements if they are very interesting. But please do not be sad or disappointed if an agency does not want you - some are searching for a different type and I for example was refused two times until I got to my agency :)) but try otherwise you might regret it for not having that experience !

Brilliant tips 👍 Also just a lil something to add to your stripe tip, you can also elongate your legs wearing them kinda like adidas three stripes at the side in your pants or a chunky vertical stripe at the side can help if you don't dig the idea of wearing full vertical stripes 😊 Also anyone worrying too much and overly about their height, remember appearance is overrated, if you have a beautiful heart and a great personality, people will usually over look the height factor. Take some celebrity examples; Shakira is only 4'11, Niki Minaj is 5'1, Kim Kardashian is 5'3 yet their presence never goes unnoticed between other celebrities or the parties because of how these women portray themselves and that height gets no highlight at all (yes you can argue these are celebrities but my point is even though being in public eye that's the last thing to mention about them, instead we focus on other things about them.)
