If only. If only I had been educated in communication skills at a much earlier point in my long life. My life would have been enriched dramatically. I have always despised people who standby silently when injustice or unfairness is occurring. I strongly believe that honor, integrity, character all require one to stand up for what is good and right. This does not necessarily require drama or ugly speech, although I understand emotions can run high. Most times what is needed is confident , reserved, dignified speech delivered with a calm resolve. It’s a fine line.
