My counter top has only an electric kettle for hot water .. I use it whole day many times . My kitchen works quite well with limited gadgets that multitask. Big oven, Microwave , mixer grinder n hand blender with chopper , toaster . Seriously never felt need for air fryers n instapots n rice cookers n curd makers n egg boilers . Less is good . Things should multitask

For Curd making in cool climate if we don't want to buy electric appliance try this: keep utensil in which you are making curd inside casserole and close it , wrap with shawl made of wool or other materials we wear in winter. Curd turns out very good if u keep this for 10-11 hrs. After that shift to fridge for good thick curd.

Hello. Thanks for the lovely video. Here, in the USA, we have to learn to survive without/with limited domestic help...The Best kitchen appliance that makes my life easy is the Instant Pot. A- its stainless steel. B- Cleaning it is relatively easy, especially the 3 quart one, although this size is meant for 2 people only. C- It does not require baby sitting. Once one has figured out the cooking times and how much water to put in for various dishes (the recipe book helps a lot) cooking becomes a breeze, all curries, lentils, beans and rice but not really dry subzis. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the video. Everyone may not require to buy all these appliances for their kitchen. Each appliance has it's own unique place in food preparation in the kitchen. For eg: a mixer grinder cannot always do what a hand blender or hand beater can do. While a person who spends more time in the kitchen can handle food prep manually, these small appliances actually come handy to those who can't do full-time food prep or cooking. Like working professionals / students etc. Even WFH is a full time job!!! Even SAHMs need a break sometimes! The time consuming activities can be shared by as many family members and relieve that one person who is otherwise "expected" to do everything related to housework. Likewise, having these appliances around does not mean that one uses them all the time. Sometimes when time permits the traditional methods of food preparation & cooking can also serve as a stress buster. So, to each one his / her own. Pick what you want leave what you can't.
