Not really. That's your opinion. But look at sales. Small phones do not sell. The bigger phones sell more than the small. Companies do their research before making a decision. They target the ones who upgrade every year. Not the ones who buy one phone and keep it for 4-5 years. There's a reason the iPhone mini was discontinued. It was the only iPhone that didn't sell.

@@vise5224 I think it is a little more complex than that. people want small screen size at a lower cost, I would by smaller phones for my parents who are very basic users and I would not want to spend more that 15-16k on them. plus I would prefer that the phone is thicker with higher battery life than just slim for vanity. so apple making small form factor doesn't make sense because they will never price it for that audience.

I bought Galaxy note 10 plus in 2020 (1.5 years after launch) and still using it. Pro tip is to remove all updates (data and cache) from Samsung apps (like galaxy store, members, etc). NEVER UPDATE SAMSUNG APPS, they slow down the phone. Remove all unwanted apps and install only when needed.

I can absolutely see people opting for a 2024 model, especially once the 2025s come out, strictly for the discounted prices. An S24U is still an amazing phone in 2025 and let's be honest, very few people are such power users or fantastic photographers that they would ever use the phone's full potential, much less notice the difference. Most people just want a reliable phone with good performance and battery life that also takes decent pictures. Also, look at Apple racing into 2017 with a 120Hz refresh! How cutting edge!

Been using my Galaxy S20 Ultra for more than 4years now and I know that it’s stuck on Android 13 but who cares, I’ve seen people still using devices with Android 9 or even Android 7 for that matter, and they’ve absolutely zero issues in running any daily apps on their phones whatsoever, so in comparison to that, my phone is running on Android 13 which I can rest be assured will support every single app that’s on the Playstore for the next coming 6-7years easily.. So the bottom line is that, if you bought a phone after 2020 be rest assured that your phone will easily be able to run any app for the next 7-8 years easily..

I preordered the Nubia Z70 Ultra which will come out this month before 2025, because I love its jaw-dropping display. It has decent value at its launch price with its hardware and feature set, Android 15 and it comes with a case, screen protector and an 80W charger. There is probably better stuff that's going to release soon but you can always wait and get better tech later, so the right time to buy is when you feel like you need a replacement. 😋

I upgraded from an iphone 13 mini (had it 3 years) to an s24 (base) this past summer and whilst its been mostly all positives (great hardware), samsung still bugs me, all these years later. duplicate apps for everything pretty much, and when a notification popped up to go into their shop simply cause i passed their store in the work van. stop advertising to me!! i already bought the damn thing!!! as for compact phones, i wish more of em would take the sony approach and do something similar to the ultrawide aspect ratio. small hands means i cant even get my thumb to the otherside of the screen on this "small" 6.1inch phone. idk how people around my approximate height and hand size are comfortable using phones as massive as the ultra tbh. ach, anyways i digress, whatever floats yer boat

Best strategy with new technology is to always wait 2 generations. Don't pay for overpriced phones, just because the technology is new.

I guess so, although I bought mine last Nov. It's already a powerhouse . But if you want to save more cash just wait for the s25 release. Both s23 and s24 will be lower in price by that time.

To be honest i am thinking about buying a new phone in 2025 but im confused like right now im using a budget phone it's realme 8 4G And i had bought it in 2021 march and i have taken great care of it it's working perfect 8 gb ram and 128 gb storage i don't take photos nor i play games nor i use insta or something like that so i am confused like should i buy a phone in 2025 or 2026 bcuz i had a phone in my mind it's iqoo 13 but i have some problems with it.. Like i dont trust it's funtouch os and just 4 years os update for a 55,000 rupees phone.. It should've been atleast 6 or 5 but then i see it's specifications better than any 1 lakh phone.. So should i upgrade or not.. It's too much of thinking.. 😑
