Well yes and no. Depends on your age I think. Marni is referring to common behaviors. I remember several failures with beautiful girls that showed interest, but this was when I was in my teens and 20s, and I failed to have more determination. This helps explains those times. Two of my favorites you talked about disqualification and jealously. Ok seriously I never had a girl play hard to get, at least not to my knowledge, before a couple years ago when I worked in an office. Personally I do prefer if the man does the pursuing, and I do notice their behavior with regards to confidence but I don't "test" them. My advice in response to this video is - Women can gauge you but it should be mostly subconscious, don't waste your time if a woman seems untrustworthy and manipulative - It IS attractive when a man pursues a woman with enough confidence to not really care if it doesn't work out - Whether you realize it or not, you always have options if you are confident enough to socialize with women. At some point there's a difference between playing hard to get and not really interested, and that's based on how long the "hard to get" phase lasts. I felt her response to that (Playing Hard to Get) was nonsense to be honest. There is no way to pursue a woman longer than you are comfortable with and NOT be in some way desperate. That's essentially the definition of desperate. Rather than viewing that (Playing Hard to Get) as some kind of 'hurdle' that can be passed with enough careful, deliberate, confident effort- I suggest you treat it as a red flag instead and move on. Find a woman that respects your time more. Even if pursuing would hypothetically get you the girl, when is the investment and effort really worth it? What guarantee do you have that the same woman won't play hard to get again in the future? When a woman reveals behavior that is problematic to you, don't assume that you can fix it- take it for what it is, her showing you who she is. If you don't like it, move on. Invest your time and attention into other more promising opportunities. I'm not saying that you should look for a flawless woman who has zero bad behaviors- I'm saying that there are acceptable flaws and unacceptable ones. That's what standards are- deciding what is and isn't acceptable behavior, and holding potential partners to that standard. Frankly, if a woman is 'Playing Hard to Get' and you think that's acceptable behavior for a long term relationship, I think you are desperate and she (regardless of whether the game is intentional or not) is immature and not ready for a relationship.

"Testing" is something we all do. I mean, that's life. For example, we are tested, are we not, when we apply for a job? Being someone's significant other IS in fact a job. No one wants to think of it that way (doesn't sound very romantic) but it's true. Even with people who are just your friends, you choose and remain friends with people who meet your personal criteria & values. Do you have standards when it comes to the people you associate with? I hope so! All of this is just as important if not, more so, if you get into a committed intimate relationship with someone. You want to be sure you're getting involved with the right person. In some ways, it's even riskier for a woman (risk of physical abuse & being left pregnant) by getting involved with the wrong guy and yet it happens all the time. Obviously, lots of women aren't constantly "testing" or evaluating men as often as they should. That 6th sense that women are often said to have looks like bull krap to me, lol! Anyhow, generally speaking, only a fool would put their full trust in someone they don't know. When you first meet someone you have to have some ways to evaluate and find out what that person is about. A woman quote unquote "testing you", is not necessarily a bad thing. It's your responsibility to test her too, to know what she's about before you waste your time being with the wrong woman. Given the jerks and losers many women date, these women obviously didn't do a good job of testing those men. These women are either too obvious (so the guy is a step ahead) or are extremely gullible or desperate to date anyone

Of course I have made ALL of these mistakes. However I would like to give you a hilarious story about what normally happens when I try to plan a first date. She indicates that she would like to go out and I ask where she’d like to go. She defers to me to pick the location. Fearing I may ruin the date by taking her to some place she hates, I ask what she likes. At this point she still defers. So I decide on a place I love and she immediately reacts with, “Anything but that!” Now a bit miffed I try to rationalize with, “Why do you think I asked?” Then we finally agree on something and 1 of 2 things happens; she either cancels the night before or the date is a disaster. Ha ha so much fun!

The "call me when you're free" stuff is simping again. Women have to make their schedule regarding yours, not the other way around. I have a recent exemple to illustrate my point (4 days ago) : I was reaching out to an old female friend (it's been weird between us for 9.5 years now, my fault I was a total simp with no balls for waaaay to long) and as she replied a few minutes later, she explicitely told me "I have some extra holiday days to use, if you're not free when I am I'll use these extra days to be sure we can meet up". That's what you want, not saying implicitely "you're way out of my league because I can't impose smoothly my schedule and my way to you that you'll follow because you're into me and I know it" 😉 Hope this helps bro.
