I am in a tricky situation. There is a girl that I really like that is definitely playing hard to get. The tricky situation is that her and I met through our work. She is a sales territory manager looking to potentially start a business relationship with my boss. She has shown a lot of signs that she likes me. This observation did not come from me. My coworkers who have seen my interaction with her pointed it out and advised me to ask her out. Long story short, she is 100% showing signs of playing hard to get. I got 21 1/2 out of 23. The problem is that, where I live there are so many rude men or men who treat and act towards women that they are good for only one thing. I got along really well with a girl, but then both of us 'played' hard to get. I say 'played' because it is actually caused by genuinely being unsure what comes next. I would say in scenarios where you know the girl well and she is obviously not trying to play games, just tell her how you feel. It can seem desperate, but on one of the other videos, a direct approach was recommended. Girls that are playing games because they have lots of options are not worthwhile, they will have no clue what to do once they start becoming less attractive. Often what is considered playing hard to get is different tolerances between the two for how fast the relationship should progress. I know that if I were in a relationship, I would want it to go quite slowly to avoid getting overwhelmed as I have never been in one. That could be interpreted as playing hard to get, but it is not a trick designed to see if she still wants me. In fact, I wonder whether sometimes people take a relationship slower to reduce the chance of making a mistake or doing something the other person dislikes because there is insufficient mutual understanding just yet. If a girl is clearly not interested in any other guys and pays good attention to you, I would say persistence is important, playful or otherwise. Playful is better early on, more direct once you do know each other for a while.

What works for me is reading body language and when it hits this stage I have always taken a step back and if they are looking for.more they will usually look for me. I'm 43 and I don't know if it's a new thing but I have been connecting more with younger women. But in the end being yourself and not giving everything up front or chasing once they play games has always worked for me. Especially the gym 😂 this is definitely good advice. Even if things are going good for you there's always some stuff to learn.
