Hey, thanks for the video! Any recommendation for soldering wire? If I understand correctly in Europe is only available the lead-free one, but I am not sure about what to buy 😅

Ciao Matteo. There are some regulations around the soldering wire, but if you look closely, and specially in Germany and Italy, you can find lead one. For what we do it won’t be a problem. We solder very little amounts. 60/40 is what you want for easy soldering and nice and shinny solder points.

Thank you for your tips. They are all very useful. Could you please share a link for your magnetic helping hands? BTW you can put that flux in a syringe easily. Also If I remember correctly that type of flux should be cleaned after soldering. No clean flux is slightly more convenient.

Hey Igor, this is the link to the magnetic helping hands omnifixo.com/ You mean I can just take kind of a spoon and feed it in a syringe? I never thought about it, will try it out. Yes, I clean this with alcohol. As I said in the video, I'm waiting for this to finish to move to a "better" kind of flux :D

@@NordFPV Thank you it looks awesome. But probably a bit overpriced for my needs. A friend of mine used a solvent but you could melt the flux in hot water.
