When I updated my firware to v.1.06.200 it also updated the firmware on my controller at the same time, I do not use the computer to keep the controller updated. I also always use the cables that came with the drone, neatly packed into the orginal bag that also came with the combo version. The Mini 2 is my travel drone outside of EU and very useful.

what are the symptoms? Is that for your RC or aircraft? Do they show up in DJI Assistant?

I have big problems after update controller RC 231 N1...!! My controller is be able to identify and pairs the drone without the smartphone plugged in the controller. After some time working without problems, i updated the controller to v04.11.0034 from the DJI Fly app (downloaded from the DJI official site) and now THE CONTROLLER DOESN'T LINK WITH ANY PHONE. I've tried everything, three different phones, android, iphone, some different USB cables, type C, type A with OTG adapter, lightning, everything. The only interesting part it's the phones starts to charge when I connect the cable, but it's not recognized for the controller trying all the suggested methods. I've connected my phone with other DJI controller before and worked perfectly, also linked my phone and drone with other controller and works fine. In Android i tried activating the Developers mode, the USB depuration, deactivating the USB charge, with the same results. Also I tried to do controller firmware downgrade or update using the DJI assistant for Mavic, DJI assistant for Consumer Drone (downloaded from the original the DJI website) bit shows just the current version and, no downgrade or update allowed. I'm very frustrated because I have seen the same issue like other owners but anybody has solver it.

In DJI assistant can you do anything about the software at all? like "Refresh" perhaps? I did see that on my end. Also did you contact DJI Support?

Do you know if DJI fixed the RC firmware update I haven’t done the update sense it was launched because of the issue have they corrected the issue?

Also why am I getting lighting is to dim warning? I never unlocked it idk not sure what’s going on.

Top Marks to you for effort and solving this problem. 5 videos to explain and solve it. Great follow-up and progression. I have the same problem and have done many other reconnection options without remedy. Several other videos have not produced any result I am hoping your solution solves my problem. I will try it this weekend. I'll add a comment if your technique works for me.

Note some USB cables are CHARGE only ie there are no data connections in the cable.⚠️👍

Same problems Air2s. RC wont connect to the phone. Now updating and maybe buying new cables and using different android devices. Will replay with outcome.

Here is the same problem with my drone i have 7 RC cables now and 3 Android phones but unfortunately my drone controller is not connected with these mobiles,then i used other phones and some cables are working with other phones and my 3 phones are not working.

my case was my mini 2 had unstable connection with the rc after the firmware. i had reset the firmware yet still the connection is unstable. the rc n1 still works fine with my mini 3

Sounds like a hardware issue. I would contact DJI Support.

I got mine from a regular electronics store. Make sure it's not a charging only cable (data transfer is required)

Why didn't you use the original cable, mine came with 3 type - USB mini, c and iOS

Because my phone case was too thick and wouldn't let me plug the "90 degree" connector in :(

U mnie nie znajduje wogle plików w dji asistsnt. Piszę tylko ze mam wersję rcn1 04.11.0032. A mam firmware 01.06.0200. Kiedyś to działo. Teraz nie koge zaktualizować samego frimware kontrolera.

No, it doesn't seem to be possible... unless you hack into the software using third-party tools (not recommended).
