Prisma Cosmos is ironically the one I don't have at MLB. I used to get Kscope like 1 time a year until I got 3 copies last year during Morgan's banner, and I only needed 1 more back then. Black grail was MLB for me since LB3 so easy choice for me this anni.

Similar time for me. Only 1 BG and 1 Kscope. 4 vol hyg but seems like a waste to MLB it because you get almost nothing out of it. I think I will go for another BG and hope that someday I can MLB it. Lots of alternatives for KScope so I don't feel like having another one is going to be that important.

I started the game for Tamamo Lancer, a few months before her first ever banner in NA. Every SQ was saved for this banner. And I got super lucky. A Waver, a Kscope and a Tama Lancer. This Kscope from the very first banner I ever rolled on is still to this day the only copy of Kscope I have. And I have every other CEs on this list at MLB. Even two MLB black grails. So after 6 years I will finally get my second Kscope.

19:20 Kscope can be supplemented by the Append Skill to get 100% initial charge. That's why I think unless you have no Kscope at all, even if you have 4 Kscopes and 2 Black Grails, I think Black Grail is still better.

I think you should also consider waiting until you get a 6th copy of some of these CEs before MLBing them. Sometimes I see myself wanting 2 Kscopes just to get multiple supports to an NP. Having that extra 20% just is not that good a lot of the time. I also have actually used 2 black grails to damage supports over time and it worked out pretty decently.

Just to addendum this, I think this goes for a lot of 4-star CEs too. Some great examples being Knight's Dignity and Necromancy.

since i have 1 copy of black grail and one of wizard marshal + luckily MBL black grail, now I can have 2 KS + WM, and I could make a party set up that starts with 3 servants in the front with 100% NP each so i can just NP one of them each turn w/o swaping on regular 3turn nodes, but thats just a suggestion

you forgot the mlb scope value is definitely lowered to the fact append exists, a lvl 80 scope + append 2 max is the same as a lvl 80 scope mlb, you can't guarantee to have 5 scopes, but you can guarantee to have an append

I don’t really value MLB Kscope these days because of mana loading append skill existing but the extra attack from a MLB Lvl 100 Kscope is nice. I already have MLB Kscope so grabbing my fourth Black Grail. Hoping for that 5th copy someday

kaleidoscope will be my choice. Opens up more builds too such as nping with a support you normally realistically couldn't with in their first appearance/turn one. I see it more so as a CQ CE though. Free 50% charge CEs are more so my go to for farming in general. I could imagine Black grail being useful for 90++ I suppose, but I imagine the 40% version I have is good enough for those. Not 100% sure since 90++ haven't dropped yet on NA. I haven't found much of a need for these kind of boosts yet since double koyan and oberon have been enough for me and with single target farming, kintoki has been my go to. If I had both, I'd just be going for black grail copies for more atk. Mlb scope isn't really needed due to second slot appends.

I would say Kscope, 2030, Black grail, the Illya NP regen are probably the bests. For the buster one there are free alternative from the halloween event (the early one) with buster and crit damage up

Kscope for me. I've long be someone who loved the Avenger class, so Black Grail came to me like candy (I also got Angra a week after starting), so having an MLB BG means Kscope. I have not pulled a Kscope once, but the CopeScope's shown up 4 dang times

I have 4 KScopes and 3 Black Grails. I'm going for that 4th Black Grail. I already rarely need KScope for anything, but when I do it almost always on my 5 Star supports. And they all have maxed Mana Loading, so they don't even need MLB KScope. Black Grail on the other hand, I use all the time for difficult fights. I would be ecstatic if I could one day get an MLB copy and that sweet, sweet 2400 Attack stat. There have been so many times where I can't put out enough damage to follow the high end CQ guides. I just want to do big damage. Can you blame me?

Both are mainly used for farming so you should consider this: Do you arts loop? Get black grail Do you quick loop or buster reload ? Get Kscope

The drop rates for all of them are so low, unless your Kscope is one short of MLB, I would probably recommend BG.

I disagree on Kscope, append skills have made the first copy of Kscope much more important than the 5th. So IMO Kscope should be the first choice for anyone who doesn't have it, even if they also don't have BG, but those who already have a copy of Kscope should take BG, even if taking Kscope would let them MLB it.

Yeah, i'm two copies short of a MLB Blackgrail, so I will get that one. On a different note, don't you think its high time FGO added multiple purpose CE system? You know, have a blank CE that can be used as a substitute when MLB a CE? Cuz, lets be honest, after so many years of service, we have so many CE's we never got to MLB, especially limited CE's. Even if you add 1 Blank CE per event, it won't really affect the game that much.

I don't have black grail nor KS but I do have an NP2 castoria but I haven't gotten into the whole ''looping'' thing, not sure what to pick I was hoping one day you'd make a video explaining what quick looping art looping and buster looping is, and why certain units work and don't work in these systems, that would be great, of course if you have the spare time I mean. I know you have a video on looping but one that goes in depth of popular systems would be great. speaking of luck, I was saving for kama and summer kama, but I wanted super orion so bad and ended blowing all my SQs on him, and got NP4 Jane in the process...I've been playing for 3 months now, this is the first time that I decided not to ''cut my losses'' and it feels weird...

Kaleidoscope can work so you can start a battle with 100% NP [80 of card + 20 if you have the servants append] so you can worry only about getting 100% NP for 2nd and 3rd turns, depending on the battle, this is why the card can be useful Black grail increases the damage of your NP, but at the same time doesnt give you any NP at the start, meaning you have to find a way to fill up NP during turns either by atacking or by giving NP from self/other servants skills [like double castoria or castoria and skadi, koyanskaya, or oberon, waver, reines, etc] so each CE's are diferent but it all depends on your current servants and the way you would like to use them, good luck!

he does have an extremely detailed 3 hour guide on buster units . That definitely helped me understand how the entire system works and how to categorise them accordingly. As for the other two it's entirely refund based so you should probably go through the guide for NP gain that plays a major part for arts and quick.

my roster is kinda weird and a big mess, that's why I'm having trouble choosing...my best units are: Astoria saber, castoria, waver, vlad III, Xuanzang Sanzang, Orion/artemis, and now Super Orion...also I have charlie but since I have no quick support I'm sleeping on him for now, I also have Li Shuwen Assassin and I don't know where he fits....those are my 5* at least like, I don't have an aoe berserker or an art aoe and I'm told to do art looping I need an art aoe, I don't have a good rider or aoe archer, (was hoping to get ishtar this summer) my extra class is practically empty, I have BB and lobo...I'm missing a lot...I feel like I messed my account with what I went for.

​@@johnhakim7037ya just started so don't worry about it, it would be weird for you to have everything people who played 6 years or so to get in 3 months. Your account will grow and get all the major pieces it needs in time so don't feel like you committed an FGO cardinal sin or something. As for how the systems work, I think xNaya has a video about all 3 systems, a video for each system with a guide per servant on what's needed to make them loop and how to work with them. If you don't see the servant in the dedicated video, it probably doesn't loop. If you can't 3 turn loop, then don't loop, you won't get a penalty if you can't clear a qu'est in 3 turns, just make do with what you can and have and work towards making the gameplay more efficient to you if that is what you want

@@johnhakim7037 hey! you have a nice set of characters! dont sweat it, even if you dont have 5 stars that fit the niches for meta, just keep playing and slowly but surelly you can build up a good rooster, I also dont have Space ishtar or a 5 star AoE farmer, what I do have is a grailed lvl 100 Ranmaru avenger which is a 4 star welfare servant from a previous event which serves me as a 3 turn looper, and since it was welfare, i got her on NP5, Imma use this untill I get another option that is better but for now it works even on 90+ nodes

Did Khadroth forget that appends exist? MLB Kscope is nowhere near as important as it used to be since non-MLB + max battery append does the same thing.

It is a little more complicated than that. Relying on appends means spending the coins, materials, and lores to unlock and max level Mana Loading for every single character you want to use that strategy on. That can be out-of-reach for newer and F2P accounts for a lot of their units and can run against coin concerns for leveling other parts of a unit. While MLB Kscope is not as universally valuable now, it is still very valuable to all but the most well-established accounts.

@@nevisysbryd7450 By the same token, these newer/ F2P accounts would most likely not have 4 copies of Kscope to make last one for MLB worth grabbing. Not saying a second or third Kscope is bad, just that MLB'ing a Kscope is not as important as Khad made it seem/ as it was pre-appends. If I were to rate the importance of which copy of Kscope you get from this I'd go 1>2>>>3=5>4. As in, First copy is better than second copy, and second copy is still massively better than third or 5th copies, which have roughly the same value.

It means "Max limit break" it is when you get 5 copies of a craft essence and fuse them into 1
