Splitting Spacerock actually makes 15 bodies. 1 8/8, 2 4/4s, 4 2/2s, and 8 1/1s. That still doesn't make it good, but 15 corpses for 1 card might be worth something in a slower DK.

All these cards mentioning "adjacent cards in hand" makes me think of the idea I had for a HS Monk class a few years ago. Would LOVE if they were all about hand and board positioning and if their hero power and Monk class minions was something related to that!

Starships remind me a little of the c'thun from the old gods. Building up your gameplan with a cool finisher. Very excited for this expansion!

These cards aren't playable reno and yog exist why would you ever try and put all your rocks into one starship? When it will be stolen 90% of games. Terrible time for this to come since there are so many steal effects

Dranei as a minion class feels a little bit to parasitic it feels like elementals where the minion class depends on a critical mass of each of them. As opposed to Pirates where they go on their own and they good in maths or beast where the majority are average with a few standouts

Naga's been a similar way in a few cases, such as the mage naga that alternates in drawing nagas and spells, and the DH naga that dealt damage on alternating plays of naga and spells. But really I think Draenei are different enough from Elementals that it's fine. Elementals are about chaining/having played one the turn before, and Draenei are about setting up that next Draenei whenever you play it.

Man, splitting spacerock pust splitting festeroot in SHAMBLES, SHAMBLES I tell you. The actual worst case of porercreep I've ever seen, holy moly 😭 Now of course I'm kidding, splitting festeroot always sucked, but splitting spacerock is basically an 8/8 that summons two splitting festeroots, AND THEY BOTH COST THE SAME. Doesn't really show that this card is necesserely insane, just that splitting festeroot REALLY REALLY sucks.

I like the Crew Transport as anti-Reno tech, since it's the only real way to permanently remove a Starship we know. Once they Reno, you can start deploying your smaller pieces later, if you're able to sandbag them

I think there's a small chance that the Ace Wayfinder might see play if the right Draenei payoff card exists for it. Similar to how people would use Ignis to fish for the 10 mana windfury weapon, people might use the Ace Wayfinder to fish for specific keywords that have absurd synergy with certain powerful Draenei cards. This is obviously inconsistent and the pay-off has to be big, and in the case of Ignis even the "bad" weapons you could get were still pretty good where as that's not the case here if you whiff on your keywords. Which is why i said at the beginning that it's a small chance. But it is there, so keep an eye out for it.

Idk how much of a boost to Escape Pod it would be if you added, "Battlecry: If you control no other minions, summon two 0/1 Crewmembers" i was thinking 0/1 that way it doesn't feel too strong especially on turn 3. But able to give use to the deathrattle efficiently.

currently shaman plays a 1 mana murloc that gigantifies, and summons another 1/1 murloc. i think braingill is fine curve to get 2 draw on turn 2, or even just 1 draw. it might see play earlier than anticipated

I don't like one of the Legendary neutral slots being taken up by a card that can't utilized by all the classes because they don't have access to Starships.

Man, this is the first set since I stopped playing HS that kind of makes me want to reinstall it... But having not played in so long I probably wouldn't have the gold to get the cards anywho. Ah well.

As far as I've heard Hearthstone just keeps getting better and better at giving cards to new or returning players. I've played pretty consistently for a long time so I haven't been able to check for myself, but I'm pretty sure returning players get given up to like 150 card packs or something, depending on how long they've been gone. Though if you want cards from this expansion, I'd wait to return until it comes out.

@@WadeAllen001 Makes sense, last time I came back they did let you like, rent decks and choose one to keep, but most of the decks were constructed of mostly older cards, though with a few cool Legendries in them, which sort of made sense? More about giving you something to compete with rather than just the new toys whether they were good or bad? But I guess, if nothing else, I can log in once the set is out and see what comes of it.

None of these cards are playable so far reno completely kills any of these starship decks yog also kills any of these starship decks so. I wouldn't waste your time maybe after rotation but until then reno and yog make most of these cards completely unplayable

@@HDGaminTutorials Just because Reno and Yogg exists doesn't make cards unplayable. People don't have infinite Renos, and it's not like your starship is your only threat. You play one big threat, it gets Reno'd, and you play another big threat after that, and another, etc.

priest gets the shaft even in a set about holy beings flying bright yellow holy ships piloted by a high priest. dont even get a ship. i give up at this point, aggro is apparently the only design decision they can think of for priest. not a single card for priest that even looks fun or useful

star vulpera destroying starships might be annoying since its the anti set mechanic card. it would feel bad if the ship you built for 5 turns gets hard countered by one tradable boy. i feel like disassemble a starship would be more interesting. you would break it up into weaker components that are likely easier to clear, or if you just need to get rid of one part like the taunt to go face or the arcane synergy piece to make them spend 5 mana relaunching the second starship reassembled from the first to get the arcane piece effect back. also there would be scenarios where you could value trade your own starship and then disassemble it before it dies to get another backup starship assembled from the parts again.

The 8 mana legendary has basically an anti-Reno option. You get 1 mana copies of all your parts and then you rebuild post reno

@@lukieq12 ok but it activates the starship so you can clear it through other means. Not saying it’s bad conceptually, just feels like printing a mechanic that gets countered by one of the most hated legendaries in standard is kind of a bad idea
