Shaman has still got access to the Minituarize card, which gives your hero windfury. Buffing all the attack by the DH cards may be worth it.

@@declanoferrall2286 sure but you won't always hava Aranna but you can always go face (barring taunts) and DH has ample ways to buff attack. Possibly Horn is too expensive tho. Either way DH might get scary

I like Aranna as a character for DH because she's the least sad person and boy we really need that to balance out the others

Nice to see Blizzard finally slow down the game... just for Demon Hunter. There is no sense for these cards not to have Rush. Aranna is literally rushing on a zipline!

Yeah, these cards are sadly way too clunky, I can hardly even play the charge guy that ignores taunt in my attack dh deck and I don’t even bother playing going down swinging, which you think would be good if the whole point of the deck is getting a million attack. It just isn’t gonna pan out and the devs can’t ever see that

DH damage cards + Pirates + windfury in Shaman might be strong.

That neutral pirate that equips a weapon from your deck seems like a perfect fit in big DH. Little chargers are not minions that you have to put in your deck, they’re spells. So when patches summons a charger or another one of the spells/location, you play the neutral guy and get the climbing hook

How does cliff dive work with dormant minions? If you only had Magtheridon in your deck and you summoned it with cliff dive is it going to return to your deck after it awakens ?

I feel like Aranna could be very good in some sort of Fatigue Dh where you draw through your deck and use fatigue to Lethal your opponent

Highlander Shaman is going to be very good. Biggest weakness might be card draw though. Skirting Death + Horn of the Windlord is going to be insane burst.

Pirate Demon Hunter with the 1 mana pirate that gives itself and played/summoned pirates + 1 attack is going to be nuts. Think it's called Treasure Distributor or something like that. And as others have/will mention Shaman has access to windfury in the from of a weapon and an elemental so any card from DH that gives attack has the potential for massive damage in Shaman.

The sock puppet naga is only 1 mana and automatically fulfills the climbing hook req. I think it could be a strong top end for an aggro dh deck. As another synergy for the sock puppet naga, skirting death on it will raise your heros attack without lowering the nagas

I get the feeling an early draft of Skirting Death said steal Attack AND HEALTH from an enemy minion. That cost seems way too high for a conditional attack buff in a class that admittedly loves attack buffs.

I mean: warlock plays backfire, 3 mana draw 3. and they got carddraw by pressing the button. So i think a crazy combo-driven wild demon hunter might use Paraglide.

Shaman with the new DH weapon and Skirting Death plus the elemental that gives you windfury can attack for 20 dmg

You’re immune basically and the damage you would’ve taken is instead dished out to an enemy.

Actually...sure, you may not want to put it in your list, but ironically Kologarn would be GREAT to pull off Cliff Dive because you'll steal it and they'll never get it back.

I think pulling wind fury minions off of Cliff dive are just such a disgusting board swing that refunds the minions to your deck after you're done with them. So you never run your deck empty of big minions to cheat that ultimately the best deck for the card will revolve around doing just that.
