Thank you really learning a great deal from your videos. Please recommend some opening remarks

Been watching all of your videos because extremely last minute I may be called on to officiate my sister-in-law’s wedding because the officiant they originally hired was pulling some late game shenanigans with doing the exact opposite of your advisement here as they did not listen to the couple at all. So now I’m just trying to take in all I can, review my minister’s manual, and hope for the best for tomorrow. Again, appreciate the videos.

Here in The US it's very odd to sign the marriage license. I have never done that, nor have I ever seen it happen during the ceremony. We always do it directly after in the back.

Yes I’m aware! I’m trying to single-handedly export this tradition from Canada to the US, because when you have a really fun song playing (think “signed, sealed, delivered” by Stevie Wonder or something like that) it’s super fun, everyone gets to enjoy the moment, and it’s a great way to build anticipation for the grand finale presentation of the couple and recessional! Thanks for your comment… 👊🏻

CONTEXT: WE ARE CHILDREN. THIS IS A JOKE. So, today I was tasked with being officiant for the wedding as a joke. Their backstory? Their partners were cheating so they got together. So yeah that's the wedding. And my last line is: *"By the lack of power vested in me, you may now throw hands with the waifu."* Thoughts? (And prayers?)
