5 Steps to a Successful Watercolor Painting | My Process!

I recently have been craving to paint in watercolor and many of you wanted to know my watercolor process. I decided to use this beautiful red hibiscus flower that grows in my little garden on my balcony for as my inspiration while sharing my process with you all in 5 Steps I use to achieving a successful watercolor painting. I basically use this process in all my paintings. Enjoy this satisfying watercolor painting video and I hope this motivated you to get into painting something that grasped your attention today! I took a beginner watercolour class last year but I never learnt all the steps in this process. I think because we didn’t have time to wait for each layer to dry before moving onto the next one. I found this to be so helpful in knowing how to be more intentional with the actual painting stage. Watercolour feels less overwhelming for me now 😅 Thank you for an informative video, esp. with starting out with the wet on wet and base layer .

I use acrylic white for the highlights! It pops alot when you take in mind the watercolors! It gives it a glass effect
