One strategy one timeframe one fx pair per account is what leveled me up . Any deviation brings inconsistent results always . Build consistency then build capital through prop firm funding and build realistic wealth . If you backtest your strategy and them follow this principle youl be unstoppable

I agree. I only traded one pair, 5m tf and I have a good profit my problem is I don't close losers soon. That's why I watch psychological talk about trading because I truly believe that trading is not just the ticks but how you think and what you feel when you are in a trade
@Itssronzzz11 күн бұрын
It differs from one person to another. I tried trading EU for a long time on all time frames. This resulted in a very low frequency of trading, very low RR and bad win rate

Many people are struggling financially to live, keep a roof over their head and put food on the table. Anyone who fails to grow their wealth financially right now is missing out on a tremendous opportunity. Imagine I start a $2,500 financial plan and get $17,380 in profits.

Once you find a trading strategy that is easy to identify or use the next step is to be disciplined and consistent with your trading strategy. Literally all you need besides mastering your entries and exits. Its simple but difficult.

You actually don't get better when you're practicing, but when you rest and sleep, your mind upgrades and integrates. A lot of pro athletes musicians artists intellectuals could testify their breakthrough comes after a period of long hiatus, a natural pruning process the brain does to become more efficient. When a pro stops practicing for a few months and come back, he'll realize suddenly he has new perspective and even improved muscle memories.. there's actual science to not practicing.

True Kobe Bryant never used to practice. He would rest and sleep when others were training and would kick ass on the court.

100% agree. Every time I come back from vacation, I see a lot of things I didnt not see before, simply because my mind is fresh. Some things are so simple and easy to change that I am nearly getting annoyed with myself that I didnt notice them before. As for sleeping, the same. Had to learn this hard way though. 😊

I've been saying this for years. When I was a kid I used to skate. I would spend days and days trying to learn something and when I was on the edge of a breakthrough I'd get super frustrated and take a hiatus. I'd wake up one day with the motivation to try again and my brain had worked out the nuances that were holding me back and I'd be able to land a trick. It was the greatest thing I ever discovered to allow one to keep moving forward in progression. Most people would just say "eh, maybe but I'm not sure I believe that."

What the wife did by saying, "He's on vacation. Why not give him a day off," was she set up the condition in the son's mind that he shouldn't be passionate and work hard every day at what he loves to do. The husband asked the son if he wanted to practice. If he doesn't pull that psychological monkey wrench out of his mind that she threw in there, he'll never be as good as he could be. The son said, "Yes." The wife hijacked what the son WANTED to do. She got in the middle of the father-son relationship. There are some things worth fighting for. I don't think I could stay long in a relationship with somebody who would consistently come between me and what I wanted to do, or what my child wanted to do.

all good. but it makes a difference between singles without kids and family regarding don't leave until you found a solution and working on holidays. As a parent you are responsible for your kids and family and they also deserve a normal life - not the kids fault if dad or mum are traders. the great thing about trading is, you are flexible and nobody forces you to trade. If there is an important day for the kids or family, no reason to trade. traders should also be aware their job has the advantage of flexibility. you only live once and trading/work and life needs to be balanced. You have the best results when relaxed and happy and family is happy. Find the best ratio between number of hours worked and profit. 80% of the time probably has 99% of profits too. Sometimes even higher when you skip loosing timeframes

Great traders have more than one strategy. Some some of these do not work well in certain market conditions.. being able to adapt and move to another is key. I think scalping a good strategy as there will always be stocks and currencies with wild swings. All of which just takes lots of practice to be consistent. Becoming a great trader is definitely going to take work. It's like learning a new language.
