I want to understand something. If you sell a covered call & then buy it back does that break your obligation to sell your shares at the strike price-if it were to reach the strike price-as you are now the holder of the option contract?

Something that I am a little confused on. If the stock price reaches or exceeds the strike price before expiry the option holder has the right to exercise that option. Correct?

In looking to put on this trade I'm seeing the price difference on the put debit side of the trade is more than the difference on the put credit side. I'm not sure if that's just the market right now. Really want to try this but right now looks like it just locks in a loss. Or maybe I misunderstand it... I'll watch it again

Question: Why does the RSI fluctuate/move a lot more throughout the ranges verses more slower movements in the RSI? I think I heard it's bad when the RSI fluctuates too fast? What is the cause?

You guys have great strategic ideas. I don't do much directional trading but this is a great technique to lock in profits.

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. With Samantha Jack, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.

Excellent video Seth! Excellent strategy for a long term investor. I do this with a portion of my portfolio with SPY. I usually go out 2 years on the LEAPS. “Boring” trade, but long term profitable.

If the adult children here expending their energy complaining about a prop firm not showing it’s PNL decided to instead use that energy to learn new skill sets and put in the work they would: A) Be profitable too B) Not have to worry about comparing themselves to others C) Wouldn’t have to spit on successful people attempting to pass along knowledge D) Would probably not have to wake up every morning and see an adult child in the mirror.

All you need to know is what a 180 bullish or bearish bar looks like. Should you enter long and that candle gets taken out by an engulfing red bar. You should get stopped out if you set your stop correctly. That is an INSTANT go short event. 180s have about a 75% follow through. Do not be stubborn or think it will come back. If you were wrong you were wrong. Great traders don't care. That is what the stop is for. They also have no problem going the other way if a certain event happens. A 180 bar is that event.
