I love this vid!!!! One of the things I would like your advise on is also knowing when to buy your first house. Eg my friend ':John'' has gone through the 5 steps mentioned in the vid, on a particular property but he currently lives with his parents. John only intends to move out in 3-5 years time. Should John rather purchase the property at a reasonable purchase price and rent it out while living with his parents or wait till he moves out of his parent's home and run the risk of the same property being valued at double the price in 3-5 years time when he makes his offer. It is something we all need to think about as well.
