For the last few reps, especially if you aren’t able to do a full rep anymore, half reps are completely fine

As long as you're not getting carried away and counting them toward progressive overload. Half reps in stretched position (bottom half for bench, first half for pec deck) have also been emerging as contributing to more growth. Intermittent half reps on the pec deck especially helps get the burn going.
