Steve, you've helped me out once again. I often feel like I sound like a broken record telling you how incredibly thankful I am at the knowledge that you've passed on to me and the improvements that you've made to my plane even though you wouldn't know me from the man in the Moon, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Steve, what is it better, 1) try to move more speed than my capabilities or 2) go as my travel capability and practice more times? 😊 some times ifeel stuck in the same place no go faster and it make me feel unsecure

Rhythmic Phrasing is a fantastic technique. Start off by thinking in numbers. Use a number for a run. One thing I have done is to use my phone my phone number. lol. It has even and odd numbers like probably all of us. Which is great. It forces you to insert pauses. You can also slide onto a number. If you’re choosing the number 4 you can slide into the three and into the four from three. Try it.

Nice stuff,I hear the chord melody,and imagine what a singer would do,then use those notes,and try to avoid maybe overplaying,just add some embellisment to sweeten things

U have great content.If i was as good of a player as I am a tech.I be famous lol.I been around people playing since mid 70s.Im disabled now and trying my best to become the guitar player i want to become .The sad deal is im right handed and got my last 3 fingers smashed fairly bad and im right handed .I like all genres of music.However blues i found are the best stepping stone for me at starting point.I soak my frettimg hand in hot water woth epsom. Salt before playing and the said spider walk sure it gets u more dexterity.However i found keeping fingers planted really puts more stress and it hurts a bit . Especially if no notes ate muted .However my stretch improved more .No pain no gain I suppose.Cheers

That's what I want to do is put a jam track on and just have fun playing my guitar.

Yes, how do you play 6th?
@rmack92262 ай бұрын
Maybe dumb... I will use all incorrect words here... I don't know the lingo. But I'm getting better at playing along to jam tracks like you're doing here. I can find the key quickly, and then find the vertical or horizontal pentatonic for the key. Whats messing me up is the skip-one and skip-two frets thing... I don't know what it's called. But anyway, I can't remember where I must skip two frets... So I keep fretting a wrong note and it sounds bad. Is there a rule of thumb or mental hack that helps a person remember this skip one or skip two pattern? I know there's theory that probably tells me... But I am looking for a rule of thumb shorthand if some kind... As a pro, is there a life hack that will crack this open for me?

Perhaps you're confused about your sexuality and have some unsolved issues with the crush you had on your Seventh grade History teacher. It's ok. I french Kissed mine when she snatched me up under the mistletoe. I fed her my tongue, She was never the same after that.
