Mam I am currently 17 years and in my 11 th class. My father have 2 nurseries but he is uneducated. He learnt to grow plants from his childhood from other educated people and now from his experience, he grow regional plants and manage to earn good . BUT , I want to get the full knowledge and education of plants. How to propagate them , scientific methods , new technologies. So could you please guide me what I have to study after 12th class , to gain full knowledge regarding plants ? (Note : I am from India)

Hello! That’s wonderful that your father had success. It’s difficult to comment as we are based in South Africa. In terms of learning the scientific principles, a university course could help? Not sure what degree options are offered in India. If you’re able to, get your hands on Hartman and Kesters Plant Propagation textbook, it is a great resource for the scientific approach to plant propagation.

You can fertilise with a root promoting fertiliser when planting, try a superphosphate or bonemeal. Later in the cycle N and K containing fertilisers become more important ☺️
